A 30-year old British businesswoman is facing six years in Dubai jail after she was allegedly caught having sex on a beach in the Arab state, according to new reports.
Yikes!!

After throwing back some champagne at a brunch, the horny Brit headed to a local beach with one of her friend's friends for some action.
When the pair were allegedly found having sex by a policeman, he is said to have let them off with a caution.
However, later, after the couple were discovered in the same position, they were arrested, and the woman is said to have become aggressive.
Sheesh…looks like the horny, drunk duo made some bad calls.
The Brit's been charged with having sex outside marriage - considered an offense in Dubai - as well as indecent behaviour in public, being drunk in public, and assaulting a police officer.
The defendant told the media that she fears she will be 'made an example of' under the strict laws of a country where even mild public displays of affection are frowned upon. And, though alcohol is available to non-Muslims in hotel bars, it is an offence to drink or be drunk in public.
If you are headed to Dubai, don't be like the drunkard Brit — claim your hook up is your 'husband' (or wife) and take them to a hotel room to fuck!
Oh, and do not - repeat, DO NOT - bring any drugs in the country, buy any drugs in the country or anything of the like.
And don't be gay!

It transpired that the cop that arrested the two idiots had found them having sex on the beach and let them off with a warning. Then on his circuit he again found them, in a different spot, having sex. When he tried to arrest them, she started hurling verbal abuse at him. If she was going to be 'made an example of' surely he would have arrested them the first time round! She was drunk in a country where drinking is legal in only very restricted areas and where sex outdoors is illegal…moral? Respect the laws of the country you live in.

longtime reader, first time commenter…i'm an american living in kuwait and i take trips to dubai every 3 months so i can get a new entry visa. i just have to say that woman is incredibly stupid. you know going into any muslim country that there are strict laws about things like this. currently, in dubai, they've just arrested numerous people for living together. there is a law that states you cannot live with someone of the opposite sex unless you are married (same applies to any muslim country). so if you can't live together then you certainly cannot have sex on the beach! heck, you can barely get away with wearing a bathing suit on the beach! here in kuwait i know that any public display of affection is highly frowned upon…it's rare to even see couples holding hands. that's why cell phones are so popular here because that's how people talk try to hook up. i get random callers hoping that a member of the opposite sex answers so they can get a date.

Really, she screwed up. She was let off with a warning and she shirked it off. Then, she made matters worse when she got bitchy with the cop. So, yes, she should be made an example of. People, when in other countries, please do your homework and get familiar with some of the basic stuff. In this case, it wouldn't have taken an expert to figure out what's cool and what's not. This all came down to common sense, which this particular woman chose to leave back home. Dubai looks like a beautiful place…if you have money. I don't, so I'll settle for the Cali Coast. Peace!

Hey all - I lived in Dubai for 8 years and it's just…….. I mean…….. grow a brain. Seriously. It's a Muslim country and while 80% of the population are ex-pats, it's just common sense. Drinking and sex are fine, honestly. People drink and have sex in Dubai like it's their last day on earth, but they don't do it in public - nor do people (with an ounce of sanity and respect) outside of Arab countries either! And Perez has a VERY valid point. Don't bring ANY drugs…even perscription drugs. And if you HAVE to, have a VERY valid and easily traceable doctor's note. A few years back, a woman with a prescription for Tylenol 3 (which contains condeine) got thrown in the slammer. Know the rules people.

If people want to travel, they need to RESPECT the law. I disagree that the host country was expecting the vacationers to behave like monks. I've vacationed in these places and they're beautiful, relaxing atmospheres. I don't know how you vacation, but sex on a public beach does not preclude what constitutes a luxurious vacation for me. My husband was just in Dubai !! He's been there a few times now and will most likely be back in the next month or so. I love Dubai! I moved here from Australia last year with my husband and we're earning 4 TIMES as much as back home TAX FREE and get 3 months off a year PAID HOLIDAY. I don't agree with Islamic laws because they are extremely strict and leave arabs with very little freedom but I went to Egypt in 2000 and wore my long skirts and other proper clothes and a head scarf when I visited a mosque.
