According to new reports, Jesse Jackson didn't realize a FOX NEWS mic was 'on' when he made some comments 'critical' of presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

Fox News plans to air Jackson's ranting in full tonight, Wednesday, at 8pm EST.
Jackson must have said some explosive shit because he quickly spoke out in advance of the Fox News airing.
And he's apologizing!
"This is a sound bite in a broader conversation about urban policy and racial disparities. I feel very distressed because I'm supportive of this campaign and with the senator, what he has done and is doing…I said he comes down as speaking down to black people. The moral message must be a much broader message. What we need really is racial justice and urban policy and jobs and health care. That's a range of issues on the menu…Then I said something I regret was crude. It was very private. And very much a sound bite."
Jackson reportedly did not want to elaborate on the context of his remarks, except to say he was trying to explain that Obama was hurting his relationship with black voters by recently conducting "moral" lectures at African-American churches.
We're definitely tuning in.
He can apologize all he wants but his 'truth' is out there.

Jesse Jackson makes a comment that was upseting to one section of society (mainly Obama supporters/democrats). Jackson apologizes saying his comment was taken out of context. Other well known 'leaders' (Al Sharpton for one) speak out in support of Jackson essentially saying they were disappointed to hear he had made such a comment, but pointed out that it was only one comment, Jackson apologized, and not to forget all the other good things Jackson has done. Strangley enough, this same leader was the first and loudest to condemn Imus (the radio show host) for his comment although he too apologized. If that leader - or the larger American society - is going to take a hard line approach toward individuals who throw out upsetting comments, shouldnt their stance be applied consistently across the board no matter who is making those comments?
Aparently, apologizes have not been good enough in the past…why should they be now?

He's right, you know. Black, brown, yellow, white… there's trash in all of them. However, in America, even as fucked up as Bush has made it, with a bit of determination you can pretty much make your own future. It may not be the most grandiose life, but it can be a decent one.
