I love the original. Not so sure about the remix.
This is SUCH a tired song. It was stupid to begin with. Its been done before and better than this. It might have been mildly shocking….14 years ago! When Melissa Ethridge had a video with chicks making out in '94 or the original I kissed a girl premeried in 96 or 97 it still wasn't that exciting. All the things she said by Ta-Tu was another… SUCH A TIRED AND PLAYED OUT THEME. Woo, you kissed a girl. Hey, I had breakfast this morning and that's about as exciting as girls kissing.
He ruins it, his rhymes are soooooo weak.
Also, that hard bassline in original version made the song.
This "remix" is beyond lackluster.
not the most amazing remix i've ever heard, but i was mesmerized. it's pretty hot. both song AND video. i just wish KhaK Black wasn't so goofy lookin.
Love the remix part, but hate that panting straight guy rapping. It turned an edgy, titillating song into porn. Sad for Katy Perry.

The first time I heard this song, I liked it. However, the more and more I heard it I realized that is is negative towards the gay commmunity: it trivializes gay relationships by suggesting that they aren't "what good girls do" and that they should not be taken seriously. This remix only fortifies those stereotypes–the guy is encouraging the girls to kiss for his pleasure, not because they should be able to kiss each other publicly as lesbians. It's a shame, and it hurts the gay community.

I don't like it. I really like the original and this just not do it justice. I don't like how the song is slowed down, the cheesy "huh huh it's a remix" and the lesbo action added to the video. Not that I have anything against girl on girl action, I just thought the song was about innocently kissing a girl when drunk (as most girls do) rather than a full-on make out.
