Have you given birth before. If so (and you had those experiences) I am sorry. I had a great pregnancy and enjoyed everty moment (even when I looked like a whale). Feeling those kicks and rolls were the best, and I knew I'd never experience them again in my life.
It's all about how you look at the PG'c and what you to make it a perfect bonding experience. Remember, if you're stressed out, so is the baby.
My bub came out perfect, slept straightaway, and the lady in the room with me had a bunch of kids and a screaming baby, and I remember her sobbing and saying "why can't my baby be like yours". Truly humbling.
He's still a great kid to this day.

I can't help but get annoyed by this woman's comments - for goodness sake, get over yourself, you've just had a baby - there are so many women out there who try to get pregnant and can't, comments like this are just a slap in their face.

I officially hate her!!! You know I was holding out supporting blah blah, but first the shame of her heritage well it was sad but, hey she has a right to do what she wants and consider her self German if she please but, to say that about being pregnant is sad. I just had a baby and I have a fairly nice body and gained about 40 lbs during the pregnancy but, I never regreted it, I was doing something special something only women can do and even some women can not have that gift, what is 9 months of being a little larger then ususal eventually you will have the most precious thing a person can have. Damn poor child I think her daughter will be one of the ones we will see in rehab or sucidal in 18 years,.

Why is it wrong for her to say that? I love my daughter more than anything, but I hated pregnancy. Some people don't feel sexy. I threw up at least once a day for more 7 months of my pregnancy and when I wasn't throwing up, I was constantly nauseaus. My gums bleed from pregnancy gingivitis. My sciatica got so bad there were nights I could barely walk. This is the ugly side of pregnancy, not the one that Angelina and Jamie Lynn go on about. Just because you can honestly admit that you hated pregnancy, you are not a selfish person.

I don't like her, but I also don't think she meant the weight because of how she looked. Putting on that much weight in such a short time take a toll on your body. The little things that you normally don't even think about doing become tiring. Just standing up to dry your hair takes a lot more energy.
