Pamela Anderson is a bit of a hypocrite.
The hardcore PETA supporter and animal rights activist recently checked herself in to Australia's Big Brother house and collected a hefty paycheck, despite the fact that she knew KFC is one of the biggest sponsors of the show.
Is she donating her entire paycheck to animal rights charities????
We think not!
But, Pambo did have a press conference at a KFC in Australia's Gold Coast on Thursday.
Looks like she got a HUGE turnout!
Anderson hand delivered a personal letter addressed to Albert Baladi, the managing director of KFC's parent company in Australia, citing alleged cruel practices by the chicken chain.
Pam also presented a video to the fast food outlet and called for KFC Australia to adopt KFC Canada's Animal Welfare Reforms on the treatment of their chickens.

Oh leave her alone. She has the right intention and facts on her side. KFC had behaved in vile, reprehensible ways when it comes to the humane treatment of chickens. They don't give a shit about cruelty (although KFC Canada has recently amended their policy - thanks Canada!). I don't know about you but I would not want to eat anything that has been tortured and abused. The mere idea makes me sick! There are humane and decent ways to raise livestock.

If the bimbo was smart enough she would know that although kfc do sponsor big brother here in australia they don't kill the chickens and it isn't as far fetched as it is in america. Here in australia kfc buys all there chicken from a place called Inghams, which is a reputable brand that kinda prides itself in the freshness of the chicken. If she WERE smart she would have known this, but she isn't so she didn't. Also inghams don't keep there chickens in cages, they buy them from free range farms. You'd think someone with the capacity of Pamela Anderson would know this.

umm..I think PETA should actually get their info right. KFC Australia use an external source for Chicken its actually a reputable company who distribute chicken all around Australia…also our legislation is very different to USA in regards to animals so I think Pammy should actually do some research first she would be plesently suprised by our legislation and our stance on animal cruelty

KFC here gets all their chicked delivered by Inghams and Steggles (major chicken producers) etc. They dont have nothing to deal with the handling of those chickens. I've been watching here in BB ans she seems really nice but i agree - hypocrite.

i worked at a kfc for three years, and every time peta protested (every saturday during temperate months, evidently chicken cruelty isn't a priority during the winter) we had increased sales while they were there. they were really rude to the workers, too, mostly kids trying to put themselves through college or single parents trying to put their own children through school. way to go, peta!

Pamela Anderson was a hypocrite before this…she's a strong advocate for animal rights and against wearing fur…but she owns multiple pairs of UGGs, which just happen to be animal fur/skin…not just the hair that they get from shaving the animals. And you know she carries leather purses and uses leather for all sorts of other things.
Is she going to work at Hooters after her protest? Look at her outfit.
Pam is obviously very devoted to PETA and animal rights. Unlike most people, she actually tries to get something done about it. Hand delivering a letter is much better than doing nothing at all. She could easily be doing something else with her time than being a promoter of animal rights. I commend her and all of her work. She seems to have a big heart.
I don't normally buy KFC but if I ever see a PETA protest against them I'd stop and buy a couple buckets to support them.
