Let them explain it:
"We started The Change for the Children Foundation to support programs that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination and a will to succeed. And we think the best people to help children are their peers — kids helping other kids who are a little less fortunate.
Well, there are 1,788,643,438 people in the world between the ages of 5 and 19! (Give or take a few here and there.) But no matter what the exact number is, that's powerful. Think about it - we have the power to change the world. And that's what we're gonna do. Right here. And it's all up to YOU!
"YOU Decide. YOU Donate." is the first initiative of The Change for the Children Foundation. We have selected 5 amazing charities and we're leaving it up to YOU to decide which to support. Once YOU Decide, YOU Donate. YOU! With your money saved from your paper route, your allowance, recycled cans or maybe a loan from mom and dad (remember to pay them back! i appriciate that you posted this in support of the charity and JB, but you make it sound like they are just starting to care about this stuff now that they're famous, but nick actually started this charity BEFORE they even achieved anything close to fame.

Wow haters, wow. The Jonas Brothers are amazing guys, and they would never use this as publicity. They don't need it, their everywhere without it. And their tour is selling more tickets then anything. So shut your mouth. They write their own songs, and play their own instruments. Don't for one second call them a lame boyband. In case you forgot boybands don't play instruments, and they lip-sync and do in sync dance moves with their songs. Do you see Jonas doing that? No. And why come here to post hateful comments? These boys are an inspiration, and if you knew anything about them, you would know that they donate 10% of their earnings to charity each year, which means 1.2 million dollars last year, and this year with everything they're doing, it'll be so much more.
these boys are doing what they can to help CHILDREN, and if you can't understand that, or don't appreciate that, you're an ignorant jerk.

wow i love how they started their own charity. thats just amazing. and to all you people who say this charity is just for publicity. think again. alot of the charities they selected are related to diabetes. nick has diabetes, so believe me, this is not just for an image. they actually believe in this because they would like to see a cure out there one day. and all you people who say they suck, i bet all you listen to is music that swears all the time and talks about things like going out getting drunk and having sex. thats not exactly the type of music that i consider good. so take a second to stop bashing on this band to realize that they are trying to do something good for the world. i love the jonas brothers, and i am proud. and NO i do not just care about their looks:]

If you were diagnosed with an illness such as diabetes you would want to have some great ppl donating to help you out too. So either way you look at it even if the Jonas Brothers are just doing this for publicity (which they aren't) they are still helping children in need …and one of those children could be you. So shut up do some research on The Jonas Brothers and get a life. Oh and BTW Nick started the fundraising before they were famous so its not publicity!!
