Vampires will be showing their teeth the next few months!
On the first Saturday in August, teens are expected to attend midnight parties at bookstores across the land in droves to celebrate the release of author Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final book of her Twilight series.
Breaking Dawn has a first run printing of 3.5 million copies.
Talk about popular!
And then, not too long after that, the first Twilight movie should be hitting movie screens worldwide.
Also, in September, HBO's premiering the vampire show True Blood on September 7th.
True Blood is based on a series of novels by Charlaine Harris. It's set in a world where vampires have come out into the open, thanks to the development of synthetic blood that allows them to survive without feeding on humans.
Anna Paquin will star as a mind-reading waitress who's drawn to a vampire who arrives in her small Louisiana town.

Um, I'm 21, not "Emo", nor do I read "shitty books". The *TWILIGHT* series is beautifully written, and the character Bella is wonderfully done, she stands for every girl who's ever felt awkward, or missed placed, and I know every girl feels like that at some point. 12 or 21.
I know sometimes you want to scream at her for coming off as 'needy'. Honestly, if a boy like Edward fell in love with someone like me.. I would act the same way. She's also very young — Finding your soulmate in high school? Having some fizzy-redheaded-amazonian-nutjob of a vampire trying to kill you.. I think it's understandable being a tad 'needy', lol.

You are obviously overliteral in your reading comprehension and can't understand how distinguish between gender and feminist issues and the fact that Bella's challenges aren't gender derived but rooted in her humanity. Stephenie Meyers is no Jane Austen, but she still tells a good yarn and breathed some life into a tired out genres and concepts like vampires and gothic elements.
Please don't embarrass yourself any further with flat, overly literal assumptions about this book series.

Twilight doesn't suck. Stephenie Meyers isn't trying to be the next Toni Morrison, but she was spunky enough to write stories in her own humble way and they struck a chord with alot of people.
I understand that not everyone will enjoy her stories, and that's fine. But I really hate the tired argument that Bella is somehow anti-feminist or dangerous for young girls.
Bella is a realistic character–how many girls feel as unsubstantial as Bella at 17? And yet all these extraordinary, fantasy-driven things happen to her. And even though her humanity limits her physical powers in comparison to the vampires, her bravery and need to do what's right cause her to save Edward from the hands of the most dangerous vampires of all!! How funny that people twist her character into something it's not–namely an anti-feminist character. It's very silly.
Kristen Stewart really got pretty. She always looked sorta mousey, but she's really pretty here.
You know what would have been a hot cover? Just the three Cullen brothers…cause you know Kellan on the cover would be hot….Perez would totally cream his pants with that cover!

I can't for Breaking Dawn to come out, midnight party at at Borders, and also the movie in December one day before my bday. I'm so excited.
It's not just teens that will be flocking to the midnight release parties. Thousands of people over 20 are just as in love with these books as the teenage world. Some of them are moms over 30! I'm 21 and I think it's safe to say that I am just as invovled as any of the 14 year olds who love these books too.

Yes, it's so funny how CBS Cancels Moonlight, Millions of fans
are fighting to get it a second season, and now all of a sudden
here are Vampire movies and Tv shows coming out of the wood-
work( so to speak) and CBS still won't give us Moonlight a second
season ! Moonlight could be a solid hit for any network willing to
take a risk and bet on a sure thing. It already has 8+ million fans
and would probably gain more if it is properly advertised. Someone
