Money! Money! Money!
According to E! News, Nicole Richie's 2005 coming-of-age novel which she "wrote" - The Truth About Diamonds - is being turned into a TV show.
Nicole says, "I would definitely produce and definitely be in the show…I don't know if I need to be the star of this show. I've got a lot going on right now."
The book is described as Richie's thinly veiled memoir. It's all about a twentysomething girl named Chloe Parker, who was adopted by a music superstar when she was 7 and as a young adult finds herself running with an elite Hollywood party crowd…she goes to rehab, has to deal with the paparazzi, blah blah blah.
Sounds like Gossip Girl Hollywood style to us!
We'll probably watch it.
What do y'all think?

everything that'S about nicole, gotta have it or see it.
What a GORGEOUS picture of Nicole!! Love and motherhood have done worlds of good for her!!
I'd definitely watch! That book was fabu…and so based on Nicole's life. Although she admitted to it being true, then denied it, the characters in the story are so obviously portraying other celebrities. Can't wait for the show if it happens!
I will watch it for show. From being bi-coastal myself, there's definitely a different vibe to each coast and The Gossip Girl people are so much more wound up than how I would imagine the girls are going to be on this show. Though Montreal is chiller than L.A. could ever be.
R u kidding? Another way for the poor adopted rich(ie) girl to make money???Just wait for Daddy to pass it on and shut the F*%@ up already- let some people wth actual talent make a name and some money.
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
She looks adorable in this photo.
I would give her show an episode or two… decide if it was watchable…
i have to say, as someone who read (and loved) the book, i would probably watch the show. i like nicole richie…she might have her issues, but at least she's honest about them.
Yes!
