And, she had a boy and a girl.

The obstetrician who delivered the twins, Dr. Michel Sussmann, says that Angie and the kids "are doing marvelously well."
Brad was there for the planned caesarian, as he has been every step of the way.

Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline were born Saturday night at the Lenval hospital in Nice.
The boy weighed 5.03 pounds and the girl 5 pounds.
All you Angelina fans, like us, will know that Marcheline was the name of the actress' dear departed mother.

So happy the twins are finally here. I read that the name Knoz was Brad grandfather's middle name. I also remember hearing it in the movie Dead Poets Society. It is unusual but cute. The babies were kind of big. Over ten pounds together. Angie must have been huge these last few weeks. I hope people mag. gets the bid for the pictures. The other magazines have been 50/50 on negative coverage about the couple. Great news. I wonder why we have not seen Halley Berry's baby, she must be cute too.

For the sake of the innocent babies, I am glad that we are hearing reports of good health, etc. However, I can't stand Angelina OR Brad, so this is certainly not a major news story as far as I'm concerned. I would be happy if they would stay out of the country, go into hiding and never show up on the screen or a magazine cover again.
Unrelated question: Could someone enlighten me as to why Perez and some other bloggers insist on this ridiculously annoying practice of having us "click here" to read the rest of any given story??? Does that help increase their visitor stats, thereby making them more money? Ugh. I find it HIGHLY ANNOYING. Based on some other comments I have read in past days, there are a lot of others who feel the same way. I mean, it's not a huge deal but it is quite annoying and if they are having us to id just to falsely increase their stats then I am going to stop clicking because I find that dishonest and manipulative. Besides, it takes more time to "click here" and I don't have all day to hang around a stupid gossip blog. as for ivf twins-tmz had a short story about 2 weeks ago that someone who worked for an ob/gyn in L.A. who was amazed at who the dr had as clients and the amount of ivf and requesting twins. Don't know if we will find out names, this woman signed a confidentiality agreement and I assume, still needs to be employed somewhere. Understand that Hollywood likes to name their kids something different, but hate the names. Vivienne might be french, but sounds old here and Knox…. well Knox Pitt sounds like a porno star.
