That would just make you a square that no one would want to be around. Life for people in the limelight is bustling and exciting, and you get ALOT of attention generally. When the mundane of REAL life, the day to day grind starts to set in - some get antsy…and start looking to be the center of attention once again. In walks the 'other man/woman'.
4 kids will take your life in a different direction for sure, and unless you have been raised with GOOD morals and standards…you will be just another reed in the wind - blowing whatever direction it takes you. It's really too bad that he didn't take the high road, and not encourage this well-used chick to hop on his knob. Usually, by that time, if any soul-searching is done … it's far too late and the die is cast. Children don't forget things…they just make it part of their makeup and then we grow up with resentments and anger … which in turn becomes misdirected and then we self-medicate, and then nothing but drama, drama, drama.
It takes real fortitude to change, people. Most of us just don't have the stomach for it…cause it's hard, uncomfortable, and sometimes opens up a huge can or worms. Which worked through properly is the best thing.
