Why not post negative stories on Obama? Lord knows he has a lot. Maybe that's it. There are TOO MANY to post huh?? And BTW, I agree to this statement! I don't think gays should adopt.
MCCAIN 2008!!
way to lose the youth vote mccain.. generation x and y are not bigots. shouldn't you be centering yourself than playing to the right? it looks as if your window of opportunity has passed. you lost my vote.
Intolerance is NO LONGER tolerated. Hopefully the right will soon realize this, and stop taking stances for votes.
this guy n bush have a lot in common.
McCain's a douche.
What an idiot John McCain is.
Last time I checked both =2 so gay parent's = 1 to him! I am so stoked another idot is running! Please vote for the lesser of two evils this country needs a change for everyone's sake!
Re: Perez – your right perez!!!! Kids do need a mom and a dad….
Re: ainsl – he never said anything about single mothers why do you people keep bringing this shit up?? He doesn't believe in gay couples adopting… Why do you Obama fuck's twist shit around?? Just like Democrats to do that… Every child should have a mother and father in their life…
Re: Scott – YEAH YOUR RIGHT HE SHOULD TELL A BUNCH OF LIES AND NOT STAND UP FOR WHAT HE BELIEVES IN FOR THE SAKE OF VOTES..LIKE OBAMA…GOOD IDEA!
Re: Miche – WHY DON'T YOU TRY READING HIS ENTIRE STATEMENT INSTEAD OF JUST THE PART THAT PEREZ POSTED..HERE I WILL SHOW YOU, "Mr. McCain, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, said in an interview with The New York Times that was published Sunday that he opposed allowing gay couples to adopt children. “I think that we’ve proven that both parents are important in the success of a family so, no, I don’t believe in gay adoption,” he said.
When asked if he opposed gay adoptions even if the alternative was that the child remain in an orphanage, Mr. McCain—who, with his wife, Cindy, has an adopted daughter—said that he wanted to encourage adoption and make the process easier, but that adoptive parents should be mixed-sex, traditional couples.
On Tuesday—as his statements were criticized by a number of gay rights organizations—his campaign clarified his remarks.
“John McCain could have been clearer in the interview in stating that his position on gay adoption is that it is a state issue, just as he made it clear in the interview that marriage is a state issue,” Tucker Bounds, a campaign spokesman, said in a statement. “He was not endorsing any federal legislation.”
NOW CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT DOESN'T IT SAY SOMETHING ABOUT MIXED PARENTS ADOPTION AND THAT HE WANTS TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR THAT TO HAPPEN HE JUST DOESN'T AGREE WITH THE GAY ADOPTIONS. HE ALSO HAS AN ADOPTED DAUGHTER!
Re: Scott – The typical average American voter can tell you that Hillary Clinton is married and has one daughter, Chelsea. The reasonably knowledgeable American voter might be able to tell you that Barack Obama is married and perhaps they know he has two young daughters, but may not know his wife's name (Michelle) or his daughters (Malia Ann, Natasha or "Sasha").Those who read our pages know that Mitt Romney has 5 sons, none of whom have ever served in the military, and know Rudy Giuliani is on his third wife and his children didn't support his campaign. Michelle Obama was on Larry King last night. She has been a focus as some of the limelight has shifted to the spouses of the candidates. But Cindy McCain has been invisible. Who? Who is Cindy McCain? Why, she is John McCain's second wife. Second wife? What do we know about John McCain's family? How many voters know Cindy McCain is the daughter of a wealthy Anheuser-Busch distributor, and that his money helped launch McCain's political career? How many children does John McCain have? Does he have grandchildren? From the Rovian smear tactics, we learned that McCain has a "black baby," but do you know the child is 17-18 years old? If McCain is hiding the fact that he has grandchildren to hide his age, that move would be horribly cynical. After all, we found out that when George H.W. Bush was running for president that he loves his grandchildren, including "the little brown ones."
GO JOHN MCCAIN!!!!!
[re=2556686]Re: hotki Re: KevinK –
Let me stick a vibrator up there. You'll see Jesus.[/re]
That's just the type of hate speech I was referring to hotki. You're a hypocrite.
You aren't tolerant. You just accept people if they believe in the same things you do. That by definition is being a bigot.
You acting this way is the very reason gays still don't have the same rights. You are the type of people that are causing that to not happen. You are giving the a reason to dislike you.
Again tolerance isn't accepting someone's lifestyle or beliefs. Tolerance is how you treat the very people you disagree with. Same thing with bigotry.
Just disagreeing with the homosexual lifestyle doesn't make one a bigot. It's only when they start treating people that they disagree with with contempt and hate does it make one a bigot.
Re: hotki Comparing a CONSENTUAL NORMAL RELATIONSHIP WITH PEDOPHILIA IS BULLSHIT. Pedophilia=bad. Do u have a logical reason to say GLBTQ'S=bad 4 society. Other than that I guess I agree. –
You totally didn't understand what I said. We see pedophilia as bad because morally we think it shouldn't happen. As humans we set up laws that say "This is immoral" even though it happens in nature. (So it must be natural!11) I was showing how your misguided thought process simply doesn't work.
Simply saying that it happens in nature, it automatically makes it ok for humans to practice such behavior is a poor argument.
I wasn't comparing the ACTIONS as I told you originally (That didn't stop you from dishonestly knee-jerking as if I did) but I compared the situation.
Is it ok to make a moral decision about what is right or wrong about pedophile sex, but not homosexual sex?
And the Gov tells consenting adults all the time what they can or cannot do. Take the drug laws for instance.
So your reasoning is a bunch of mush.
Re: Mike – Oh Mike, Mike, Mike, how old are you? You must be young because you're not reading what I wrote. I said that I'm voting for McCain regardless of his position on gay adoption, It wasn't hard to understand, if you read what I wrote, which you probably didn't. As for larger issues, Gay Adoption isn't important enough for me to base a vote around. Economics, foreign policy, domestic policy, etc are important issues. I simply don't consider Gay Adoption to be a political issue. Homosexuality may not be a disease, but it can still be a burden to someone who doesn't wish to be gay, this is where the Church of Scientology comes in with its ability to cure such a burden.
Re: Shann – Dude u rock. He is just the lesser of two liberals and or evils. There is nothing wrong with gay parents but Obama sux for sure. If it were up to him there would be no children for gay people to adopt because he would hate it if 'his daughter made a poor decision one night and was punished for 18 years with a child'. Talk about a douche bag!! I made poor decisions and I have been absolutely BLESSED for 7 of my 18 year sentence.
Re: holy – No he enjoys not having socialized medicine and all the other ignorant shit obama thinks is a good idea like more taxes on people who have done shit with their lives and can independently support themselves after they pay taxes and contribute to society. Are you in that group and do you enjoy those things??
Re: …. – I like you and I totally agree with you.
Re: ….. – He would actually ask michelle's (or whatever his bitch's name is) opinion and that's what he would say.
Re: hotki – Can we possibly go with 'Those of u breeders who happen to be ignorant'. Cause some the most revolutionary mind were breeders. I bred and I raise my children to be good people who won't judge anyone and they are only 2 and 7 so there is still a chance they might be gay in which case I will love them even more if they need me too. I am sorry for being such an ignorant breeder. Its almost like gay people hate straight people more than straight people hate gay people. Its totally true that black people hate white people more than white hate them yet the straight white men and women are always stereotyped as 'ignorant racist bigots'
Re: dizzy – I can't resist helping whyno out on that one a good one was his stance on abortion another good one is stance on socialized medicine and how he feels about the right to bear arms and pretty much everything else he claims to stand for.
Fuck you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i hope you fucking lose the election and end up sucking dick!!!!!!!!
Anybody who votes for this guy is a total idiot. He is everyting our country dosen't need rightt now. Go Obama
Wow Page 10, no one has changed their minds from their original stance. The haters will keep on hating while acting like they are superior, wash rinse repeat.
This forum is full of "Know it alls" that know nothing.
Anyone that makes comments like "Anyone that vote for blah blah" is a narrow minded bigot.
How's them apples?
I used to not care who won this next election. Both are losers. But now I hope McCain does. Why? After reading page and page and comment after comment of pretentious smug Obama supports I really don't want them "running" the nation.
I bet they like the smell of their own farts.
BOTH "SIDES" of the political spectrum suck. Both lie, cheat, and steal.
If you stand for, or look up to any side, you are on the sinking end of the gene pool IMHO. (Note IMHO stands for In my humble opinion and doesn't aim to state fact)
Oh, and NEITHER side are going to FULLY vote for gay "marriages" It will be more like a "ask don't tell" watered down thing.
Why? The majority of America still has different values than Hollywood. Those that surround themselves with on people that believe like them, get a false sense of "everyone" believing like they do.
And when things don't pan out the way they thought because "everyone" believes like them, it's a conspiracy!11one11.
*rolleyes*
