So I guess he would rather a baby grow up parentless in an orphange where there is NO regular love or attention. Wow, that is admirable!……..I think that if for some reason I had a baby that I could not take care of and no one else was willing in my circle, then I would feel blessed if a loving couple, regardless of sexual orientation or a single person were to raise my child with love VS ALONE in an orphanage!
Some people speak out of their ass before actually thinking of the BIG picture and the consequences on the ones who they are supposedly trying to "protect".

So true, so true, in 20 years we are going to have a bunch of freak ass adults saying they have emotional problems because the never had a mother or farther growing up, every study done on the development of emotionally stable and successful adults prove you need a mother and father in the home , black men the major reason for their 50% high-school drop out rates , high incarceration rates, high poverty rates is that in the last 40 years 7 out of 10 black child are born out of wedlock, the break down of the black family is what destroyed the black culture and the reason is blacks in the 60's moved from the republican party to the democratic party and fell for democrats and liberal saying back in the 60's divorce is fine on children it doesn't matter if their are two parents as long as there is one, marriage is irrelevant to bringing up children, the same thing liberals are trying to pull with gay adoption and marriage and 20 to 30 years society will bare the burden.
Gays raising kids is cruel to the child, they deserve a normal upbringing.

There is more than one study that concludes that whether or not a child is raised by straight or gay parents, the kids adjust and do just fine either way; nor do they have any higher incidence of becoming gay even when raised by two same sex couples. Hetero or homo seems to be a blueprint predetermined genetically rather than environmentally. McCain reminds me of those folks in the early 20th century who decried the automobile publicly, stating that it would and should never replace the horse as a mode of transportation. Loving care for kids can come from many sources. A family can be comprised of different configurations. It's actually HAVING a loving family that matters.

Re: @v@ – Your stupid , there have been no credible studies done on children in gay adopted households especially since it's only been happening in this last decade and the children haven't even reached their late 20's and 30 and 40's and the studies I was referring to were studies done on children being brought up in divorced and single parent households to children being brought up with their mother and father in the same home and please people stop posting that they were brought by a single mother and turned out great because no one says that some children won't turn out O'K without a father or mother what the studies prove is that over all children with only one sex for a parent are less successful adults, are less college educated, have higher divorce rates, higher poverty rates and more emotional problems and when we as a society make laws we do it for that betterment of the whole society and not for individuals that might come out o'k with the laws we pass.

If people in society verbally abuse children because of who their parents are, then the people doing the abusing are wrong, not the kids or the parents. Our problem is not whether two people of the same sex can raise a child as well as or better than two people of the opposite sex, or whether or not single parents can do as well a job or better - our problem is that people like John McCain, and anyone who would blame a child for who their parents are, are ignorant and intolerant. The answer is not denying people the right to create families with love and give these unwanted children safe homes, it is educating people that difference is not necessarily a bad thing.
