All the people who support gay adoption, let's set a few things straight here:
1) If you all knew anything besides the garbage fed to you by Obama loving Perez, you would know that Obama is AGAINST gay marriage/adoption. Why? Because:
2) It is PROVEN that children are more likely to thrive with a mother and a father. That means BOTH genders.
3) The CHILD will be the mockery and the victim of abusive comments and harassments growing up.
4) Not only do children thrive better with parents of both gender, they also are less likely to struggle with identity issues.
That said, think twice before you call McCain names just because he's old and you just want a black person in office. I mean jeez.

Growing up in a dysfunctional family where my parents pretty much hated each other and only sort of became friends when myself and my sister finally went to college and they had only each other around, I think I would have had a much happier childhood with gay parents that actually loved each other and spent more time taking care of me and my sister than trying to kill each other. It really has nothing to do with gender, it's all about how good they are as people, really.
On another note, for all the people who say Obama is a flipflopper….dude, check McCain's record. Everything he supports now he was SO AGAINST just a couple years ago. I actually used to really like McCain because he was more of a liberal Republican and highly against pandering to the Evangelicals to manipulate the religious vote. Now he's changed everything he once stood for to convince the ultra-conservatives that he's the man for the white house. Not to mention during his campaign he's told different things to hispanic leaders and white southerners at townhall meetings about what he'll do about immigration. I don't trust the man at all, who knows what he'll do if he becomes president, right now he's just trying to win votes. Not that Obama isn't trying to win votes either, but I trust Obama more, and I just prefer his stance on many positions over McCain. Plus he doesnt look like he's going roll over and die at any given moment.

I agree with McCain. It is not normal to be gay. (Sorry Perez, but its not) I myself don't have any problems with people who are gay, if that what makes them happy, but I would rather they not adopt. Still if they choose to, I feel that it is their decision and they have the right to do it. I had a friend who grew up that way and is not very well adjusted. It opens them up to ridicule at school. (I mean high school is brutal enough, but now their classmates have real ammunition) It gives them a warped perception of what a family should be. If you are gay, it is an alternative lifestyle and I feel there are some things you need to sacrifice, like having children. In today's world, a child is considered lucky to be raised in a household with both parents. The divorce rate is, what, at 50%, at least? If two parents want to give a child an upbringing of having two parents together in one household, it doesn't…and shouldn't…matter if the parents are heterosexual or homosexual.
