Ok…first, i'll make it clear that i am not, i repeat, i am not, a John McCain supporter. But, i'll have to agree with him…i'm not conservative but the normal upbringing of a child is one consisting of different sex parents, a male and a female. It doesn't mean that a child will have a perfect life with different sex parents, what it does mean though, is that it will not harm the child in psychological aspect. If you have two same sex parents you will grow up believing that's the way things should happen. What i believe is that, gay people should have rights in love, and independence and freedom from the taboos of the society of today. But they shouldn't be selfish and have "exaggerated" opinions about their rights. Selfish, yes selfish, don't call me racist, but selfish because, first of all, did they have same sex parents? See, they're thinking about themselves, not about the child. Will the child be happy? It's not going to be utopian either with same sex parents, it's never utopian…The child will construct an image of that being the normal way of things, and will do the same, teach it's children to do the same…Homosexual people should respect this. That a child wants a normal life. I'm not saying straight people are the best, or their normal, or they aren't abusive…Quite the opposite, different sex families do face many problems…How would gay people feel if they where raised by gay parents?

You were suppose to be opposing Mr. McCain's statment not cutting down straight family's/or people who are receiving goverment aid. You resent McCains stand and see it as being wrong against gay's, however in defending the gay you attacted verbally the "Breeder's and the people on social aid". Maybe and just maybe this is one of Mr. MaCains reasons. Hate only breeds hate. Money and education do not always make good parents regardless of sexual preferance. Also, it's not as if a m/f couple are able to provide something that a gay couple wouldn't. They're just as capable mentally and emotionally.
The only problem with gay parents is that their children will be attacked by the "wholesome" people who think that homosexuality is something sick that should be kept out of sight. That's the only reason for there to not be gay parents, and it's not a good enough reason. There are communities where gay parents are viewed as normal people, instead of freaks. Those communities will just continue to spread until the hateful people are in the minority.
Gays are the current scapegoat for society's problems and people don't want to lose that. They might actually have to worry about their own problems if they do. Ah, who am I kidding? They'll find something else.
