The troubled singer proceeded to drink and smoke on stage, despite the fact that her father says she has the early stages of emphysema.
She's got a death wish!

To LOL: I don't think Amy's father was lying about her lungs, and I believe his original story that the doctors told her father that she has emphysema. I believe Amy's press agents later changed the story to make it appear that Amy's illness is less severe than it really is. I think Amy's press agents flipped out when they saw Mitch openly and honestly discussing Amy's condition with the world, and they tried to do damage control and say she doesn't really have emphysema when she does. After all, if in a month you're going to be in a wheelchair if you keep going …, sounds like emphysema to me. But Amy is worth more healthy, even if it's only the perception of healthy.
Obviously, she doesn't care about her voice, which I don't particularly care for, but it is her talent, and many people love it, so it is a shame she doesn't care enough to even try to stop smoking. What happened to the "covered in nicotine patches?"
No reason to feel sorry for her, this is what she wants for her like.. drugs and booze.. congratulations, dipshit!

To those ragging on those complaining here, Amy has chosen to make herself into a sad caricature who obviously doesn't want to get better, even though she has the WORLD AT HER FEET and could get help with so many more resources than any of us will ever have. That is what is angering and frustrating. The woman has TALENT, yet she is choosing to THROW IT ALL AWAY for the sake of drugs, alcohol and cigarettes. She COULD hire her own personal chef, a personal trainer, and put herself into a great rehab clinic, but she chooses to do none of these things. She is throwing away her life, and as far as I'm concerned, anyone can say anything they want against Amy Winehouse. She has brought it on herself.
