I stopped by the mall on Friday and the line was wrapped around and to the exits. The guys in the line looked like Star Trek fans at a convention. It was probably the first time in years some of those guys had been in a mall. There were maybe five women in line. Really geeky.

I have a first GEN and love it plus my plan is cheeper and comes with a bundle of txt for free best part my phone was free also thank you stimulus. Well worth it

My bf went to buy me a phone at lunch and they told him they were sold out nationwide. So we placed an order and now I have to wait two weeks. I'm surprised people waited six hours and got one?! You must be in NY or something. Stores around here didn't receive that many.

I didn't get one. I still have my original iPhone from last October. I did upgrade successfully to the 2.0 software and downloaded about 20 new applications. It's excellent even on the old version of the iPhone. I think I will keep my old iphone with the cheaper AT&T service for a while before I upgrade.
I lined up at 5, got in the store by 7:30 and thanks to AT&Ts complete lack of adecuate preparation, left at 8:30 with my phone. Love it but not sure it was worth the standing around. The Apple folks were great but I think AT & T blew it. SO not happy with them.
I did buy the white iphone. $30 data plan, $35 my5 with some other stuff
The phone is great sometimes is annoying because of the touch only but it gets good reception, great to get internet anywhere, and even better to have the ipod attached to listen to music at work without carrying more things in my purse.
$200 is nothing compared to how much people pay for an iphone in other countries.
to get a good phone with wireless and touch screen in south america you dont pay less than $1000
i got the iphone and it is awesome. all the applications are really good and its awesome that you can get free ones aswell as paid for ones. it is the best phone i have ever had and is surprisingly easy to use. but i love it. i recommend it to anyone
i bought 1 last month the phone is great but at&t sucks i missed calls fromm my job cause they went straight to voice mail drop calls… my house was a dead spot so at&t told me told foward my calls to my house phone …i returned and went back to verizon after 10 days …whats the point of having the hottest phone if u cant use it
I will not purchase an iPhone as long as AT&T is the only carrier. Unfortunate since I love Macs and Apple products and have been using them since 1990.

i waited on line for 4 hours at an apple store and when i got in they told me i could not buy the phone there because i had a busniess plan and that i needed to buy it at the at&t store. so i waited in line for 4 hours and they didnt do anything for me but say i couldnt get the phone there,
