McCain is old and out of touch. That's like saying that people of different races can't adopt a child of another race because somehow that would be confusing for the child.
Children need stable, loving homes. Period. If that home is run by two people of the same sex, then great! Intolerance is so last century. I don't think anyone should vote for someone who is a bigot.

John McCain is a complete idiot. All a baby needs is someone who loves it, nurtures it, and takes care of it. Besides like he can tell other people how to run their lives and homes? He left his seriously injured wife to take care of his children while he was out screwing some much younger heiress. Like thats good parenting? What a hypocrite. He has no morals or class. Which is ironic because dont republicans always seem to think they are morally superior to others?
To those who don't want higher taxes:
The time to protest was when Bush and his cronies spent billions on the "war on terror." They knew then, as they know now, that it will take generations to pay that off. The fact they lowered taxes while spending money like water was shocking to fiscally responsible Republicans, as well as liberals. It's going to have to be paid for, and it doesn't matter who we vote in for the next thirty years. We will have to pay. You should have been concerned when Bush was spending it. Maybe Obama can stop the money flowing out of the country like water. He's really our best chance because McCain wants to keep up the war and keep up the spending.

Not so. Because while race and gender really don't affect a person's intelligence, age does. McCain is lucky he can still remember his family members but no one can count on that going on another four years. Old people become as little children and unless there is a huge breakthrough in stem cell research (which Republicans like McCain fight to stop) then that's the way it will stay.

At minimum, a presidential candidate must be 35, as you know. Personally, I'd say between 35 and 60, since 65 is the usual retirement age for working people for good reason. If McCain wants to serve his nation still, there is always volunteer charity work. And are you sure he is still for stem-cell research? Your citation is over a year old. Because the same religious extremists he was pandering to with the gay adoption comment also won't vote for him if he's pro-stem cell research and he's been changing his positions to please them. His policies become more like Bush's with every day that goes by. Mistake on McCain's part and electing him would be an even bigger mistake for the U.S.
