Kate Hudson has landed a highly coveted role in the film remake of the Broadway hit Nine.
Lance's girl joins a cast that already includes Oscar winners Daniel Day Lewis and Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard.
Romantic comedy Kate has her work cut out for her!
Hope her acting chops can stand up to those mega thespians.
And on top of that…she has to sing?

Vega–He was with her. He was there for a speech before the celeb golf tourney. Then they were in San Jose for a Livestrong event. Kate ran the 5K and he did the bike ride.

Kate Hudson sucks as an actress SO BAD.. I can't EMPHASIZE that enough.. I hate her movies! She is and always will be a PG-13, romantic-comedy actress. They only people that I can understand liking her at 12-17 year old girls.. fools gold? pleeasse.. like all of her movies, cheese fest.. Maybe she'll learn something from the people she's cast with that can ACTUALLY act
JUSTY - She was not with him in Vegas…she was with a girlfriend out partying…no Lance. They may have done the 5 k and Bike Run together last week, but this week she is living it up in Vegas…alone…but working on some project. Either way, she is awesome and deserves every bit of fame and fortune!!
Kate sang in an episode of SNL, with Tracy Morgan as Woodrow, the hobo who lives in a sewer… it was a gross/funny song, but she sang and it was good.

Have you forgotten about her amazing work in Almost Famous?? The one she got the Oscar Nom for… Apparently. Because Kate, just like her mother, has extreme talent in acting.

Good God. Kate Hudson billed next to DANIEL MOTHERFUCKING DAY-LEWIS!!! Fuck. Who did she blow for this. There is such a huge huge divide between talent in these two, it's ludicrous she's even there or even mentioned in the same breadth as the greatest actor on the planet.
ok….im concerned for the movie because Nine is a great musical and Penelope is playing Jane Krokowski's character that means nicole kidman and kate are going to be playing luisa and claudia…i am concerned for both…get Laura Benanti please for the movie!!!!!!!!
kate actually has a fantastic signing voice - she sang in About Adam…check it out.
Kate sang in the movie "About Adam" and was great I thought. She was singing I believe Frank Sinatra songs and the film features Stuart Townsend before his "Queen of the Damned" days…. so I think Ms. Hudson will do perfectly fine as she is a talented actress.
I must note also that she wasn't singing them in a comedy… she was truly trying to sing the songs, so the "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" example is a poor one since she was trying to be funny.
I hope she isn´t a fiasco.
Kate Hudson is at best a 'B' sitcom actress. Fortunately for her she has a famous mother or she'd be just another cute blonde in Hollywood …. a one-hit wonder. SHE SIMPLY CANNOT ACT.

IS IT JUST ME OR THE IDEA OF NICOLE KIDMAN WITH PENELOPE CRUZ IS A LITTLE BIT STRANGE, i mean nicole was married to tom and right after their divorce Penelope jumped in.
