God perez….could you stop kissing Madonna's ass so hard just to get her to give you free tickets or to get her to acknowledge you. If Madonna's a bitch and has a side that is fake, we (public) should know about it..especially if we shell out 300 dollars a ticket for her concerts. As a gay fan (possibly not for long) she hasn't done anything for the gay community. When is the last time Madonna did something not selfish for the gay community that did not involve making her bank acct bigger or exploit her "Kabbalah". I also agree that there is something to me said for loyalty which you clearly comment on with "Judas" as your title. first, let me say that i'm a huge Madonna fan, i still buy every magazine that she is on the cover, buy all her albums and actually love them all. love her. i originally planned on banning the book. i was just too damn curious. but i must say that i really do like this book. he's very fair and straight forward. no matter how much you love her, by now we all know how shitty she can be to people that's if you know anything about her at all.. he has every right to tell his story and it's written very well.
People love Madonna, but really why? She is always re-inventing herself? Doesn't that mean she is somebody who does not know who she is and is in search of herself! Madonna is not such a good person. She has done a lot of really bad things to people, stepped on whoever and whatever to get ahead, and was and still is very very self absorbed. She tries to act like she gives a shit, but she doesn't… she lives in her big castle… with no concept of what FAMILY really is… and lives in a bubble that is called ME WORLD!
Even now, she is breaking up a marriage, and lets say she did not break up this marriage with A -ROD she is 50 years old, she should use better judgement. Why is she so close to another womans husband and text messaging… Cause she is a BITCH! A stupid old bitch!

Apparently, Chris Ciccone was going to appear on other shows to promote the book, but Liz Rosenberg rang them up and said that if they interviewed Chris they would lose access to Madonna…forever. The interviews got cancelled.
Still, it looks like this book will be a big seller, but I can't help feeling that it will cause the most sorrow for Chris in the long run. He will never be able to salvage his relationship with Madonna now, and he will never be able to step out of her shadow, having been so public about their relationship. And will any clients trust him knowing that he's sold his sister out, no matter how justified he may be? And just look at the way he comes across in the interview; so nervous and edgy and tripping over his words. Whatever he says, he feels very uncomfortable about this book and I sense that this will only increase.
Oh, and I hope that Grandma Ciccone gets a nice fat cheque in the post from Chris, now that he's finally got some cash in the bank. Something tells me though, that most of his publishing fee will end up be snorted up his nose.

I got the book today and started reading it. Honestly nothing about it makes Madonna look like a bitch except until she starts dating Guy Ritchie. That's when her life start's to go sour. I'm over Madonna. She needs to divorce that Asshole.
I had no idea that Cristopher was such a big part of her life and success. He really was there for her from the start. She is really great at fucking up all her relationships. Her husbands, her family, her co-workers, her employess. Next will come Lourdes book then Roccos. David will never learn to read or write so at least she is safe there.

I am reading his book and halfway through it. I have to say originally I thought it was going to be bullshit but so far I think it's good. There is alot about her character I knew about already from people I know that actually worked with her. In his writing, It seems to me that he seems to love and care about her but at the same times feels betrayed and hurt.
I'm one of those rare people who had no strong opinion about Madonna one way or the other. But after seeing Chris on GMA and reading the comments on her, I feel sorry for her. Chris comes off as a nasty person and so does everyone on here. Who are any of you to criticize Madonna for being a bitch. You are far worse and more mean spirited than she could ever be.

just finished the book and I strongly recommend it. after reading this book, I have lost all respect for this woman. how can you go and use your mother's funeral as a backdrop in your documentary? the grandma thing said a lot about her, OMG!!!! the whole chapter about the truth or dare (blonde ambition tour) was the highlight for me in this book. people quit because they can't tolerate her, I don't know how she lives with herself? money does not buy you happiness or love. well anyways I'm done with madonna; I'm glad for the last 4 albums I didn't buy them, I bootlegged them. I hope everyone realizes after reading this book that you've been giving money to a ruthless, money-hungry, self-centered women named Madonna. Well done Christopher for telling the truth. -W
