The hair is'nt my problem. I get a HUGE woman beater vibe from Cruise, and I dont like it at all.
so i was at my colorist in san francisco the other day. she had just come back from LA where she learned that PERMS are coming back! yes, the 70's/80s perms.

If she just came from the set, she probably has hair/makeup from filming. Heavy makeup and overdone hair don't go with the jeans and sweater — she would NEVER be out looking so mismatched on purpose.

Why, oh why, does Katie Holmes look worse every time I see a picture of her?? She has been looking so awful these days…being with Tom has not done much for her looks at all. I almost wonder if Tom wants her to look ugly so she won't get attention or something…it's really sad. Katie used to be so fun and cute and now she's just a robot.

Now I'm a huge fan of Dawson's Creek which is probably why I'm so disappointed in what Katie has become. I feel like shes made a huge mistake by marrying Tom Cruise and becoming this stepford wife. I feel like back before Tom she was this sweet girl nextdoor and now all of the sudden it's kinda like she sold out. Now shes throwing cocktail parties with Victoria Beckham and prancing around like shes the greatest thing. But when you really look close at all of the pictures that are in the magazines and online it looks like shes so sad. She's trapped in this life with a crazy husband who's brainwashed her. I feel so bad for her…it's heartbreaking.
If you had ever worked on a real set then you should know she is in character hair and makeup. Tom Cruise is still a nutbar but THAT is not everyday hair. However thank you for showing it so we could hear from so many delightfully well mannered young people.

Katie continues to look more and more unhappy the longer she's with Tommy Boy. She used to look young and happy. Now she looks older, tired, sad and haggard all the time. If she loses anymore weight she'll blow away. If I were her parents I'd be very concerned about her. She looks as if she's clinically depressed but of course Tommy would never allow her to be on anti-depressants. Sad, sad, sad.
