I think Raven looks cute here! Her makeup isn't overdone, and her hair looks great! What's wrong with it? I like it alot better curly and natural looking than chemically straightened with a big weave clipped on. Raven does sometimes wear some odd things, but she is fabulous and a way better role model than ANY of the other disney chicks! I've loved Raven since the Cosby Show and I think she is a beautiful girl! Raven if you're reading this, don't listen to the haters! You're awesome- take it from a normal girl from Seattle who loves you.

She washed her hair and put some type of pomade (to retain moisture and shine) in her hair and let it curl naturally. And you make fun of that? Because for one day she does not confine her hairstyle to caucasian standards of beauty. Would it be too much to ask of you to respect all styles of hair- not just those perpetuated for those that have naturally straight hair?

We are so used to seeing black women in the entertainment industry subjecting their hair to all manner of processes in order for it to look straighter and lighter (hence more "white") that a black woman wearing her hair naturally comes as a shock.
