We found it odd that Katie Holmes has been conspicuously covering her hands and wearing gloves recently.
And now we know why!
It appears that the actress' hands are discolored.
Holmes showed off some very dark hands - which do not match her face - while out and about in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Could that be the result of a burn???
Is that for her role on Eli Stone????

YOU ARE A TOOL ..people with Raynauds Syndrome don't just have cold limbs when it's cold outside..I know this for a fact because my oldest daughter has Raynauds and has had it since she was a baby. Get educated..please.
Us magazine has a pic of Katie holding Suri in Hot Pics section and clearly her hand is purpley brown, for whatever reason, that is her hand. When was the last time you saw Tom holding a teen boy's hand? It may happen, but not in public.

It's the angle that the pic was taken at. We can't see all that is happening. It may be Katie's hand OR it might be someone else's hand getting in or out of the vehicle. If it were a DIRECT picture where the FULL picture was revealed we could say for sure if it was in fact Katie's hand or not.

I have raynauds,so I think she has raynauds… your hands and even your feet turn red,white,purple… due to it being cold out,or you just feeling cold,or your emotions can trigger it… if you leave it long your hands will hurt and then you can't feel them so you have to warm them up so they don't get damaged… so she's probably has gloves to warm them up,and she doesn't want people to see…

ok so this was very interestine to me so i went looking for photos on the 15th she was wearing gloves (very strange for july) Then on the 16th her hands look normal you can seem no discoloration then on the 17th she is in a sweater and has putlled the sleeves completaly over her hands as to hide them and then there is this pic i am thinking that it is for the show because some sort of condition would nopt just disapear for a day

IDIOTS, those are her hands. You can clearly see the sleeve under that matching Katie's sweater. In addition those fingers are too long and too thin to belong to any male (child or otherwise) … Also if you look at the knuckles and finger joints you can see White skin. Its not the Black guy as he has one hand in his pocket, he is wearing short sleeves, and the position makes it physical impossible to hold her hands that way.
It also appears that she is in the shadows, so that could have an effect on the color, but likeily its due to poor circulation … or she's Xenu.

Has anyone even given thought to this? Katie's hair is dark. If she decided to color it herself, not uncommon, she may have forgotten to wear those little plastic gloves. I can assure you, if you get that hair dye on you and don't remove it immediately, you will have darkened skin. I've seen it. On the other hand….maybe it's for her role. Who knows? I think she colored her hair and forgot the gloves. Looks like it to me.

That is not IKatie's hand. The angle is all wrong. It is a left hand and has no ring on it, her nails aren't done, and it is very small. It is most likely Tom's african american son or daughter's hand he is holding and the child is behind him.

Katie's life since Tom has been sad from my point of view. She is a beautiful lady and always shines, maybe the actress in her that helps her with the front. I wonder how her spirit and true feelings are. Her choices, however, are her choices, and only she can decide what she will endure. I pray that she will find the Lord and He will give her wisdom and deliver her from further damage. Just like everyone born, she was knitted together in her monther's womb by the God above and He will allow choices to be made, and like the rest of us, we either learn from harmful choices or we don't. Katie, you are loved, though, and if the treatments the Scientologists use are truly pure and from God the Almighty, you don't need to hide anything. Just be sure to take care of yourself.

Maybe she has a mild form of psorisis or exceme. Treatment for it is ultru light. Many people in america have it. It can be triggered by stress, allergys. It can be embarrising to have and is very hard to get rid of. Once you flare up you always have it but some treatments can relieve it.

First- Toms adopted son is black, his adopted daughter is white.
Second- Impossible for him to be holding hands with the black guy. Look at the way they are both standing. Dude would have to twist his arm around backwards to the pic to have been taken as it looks in the smaller pic.
Third- Raynauds phenomenon typically affects only the fingers, (and/or toes) not the entire hand. Also, it is more likely to occur during winter months (although it can occur secondary to exposure to extreme temps either way). With Raynauds…the fingers go through a series of colors…first white, then blue, then when the vessels reopen (after vasospasm), red…so if her hands suddenly turn red…Raynauds might actually be the cause.

It's not the black guys hand, look at the direction of the fingers, he couldn't bend that way, also in the close-up you can see the black sleeve at the wrist, the guy is wearing short sleeves, number three, the fingers are SKINNY and feminine and lastly look at the position of her arm, and notice there is no hand hanging by her side, it is definitely her hand. Oh and to point out the obvious, um why would Tom be holding some random black guys hand??? Really.
Re: Amand – it's just from a bad tanning experience (self tanner does that to your hands sometimes, it happened to mine!). Notice in the crevices it looks a lot lighter (where the tanner didn't stain). Duh.

Silly kids! This has nothing to do with Scientology or Dianetics. I'm sure Katie was just playing around with her hair color or doing some arts and crafts using dyes. She could have also worn gloves (vintage?) for a shoot and due to sweating the dyes could have transferred into her skin. There are SO many different possibilities. No one should jump to conclusions about her health or her religious practices or beliefs. It's unkind and unsupportive- especially if you consider yourself a "fan".

I agree it could be from anorexia. She and posh are both small and may struggle too much with keeping their weight up as do many hollywood and otherwise starlets. However, people who don't know fail to realize something. Katie's the one who wears the pants. She's the strong leader in the relationship. She's simply become a grown woman as far as her style which looks phenomenal and classic. Tom is not this domineering, abusive type. In fact, he's very submissive which anyone would know if they paid attention to his upbringing which has been made public accessible to anyone.
