Heigelgate Won't Die Down

Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes is speaking out about the famous Katherine Heigl snub for Emmy awards consideration.
Rhimes says, "When I was told about it, my reaction was surprised. I have a really wonderful working relationship with Katherine. Everybody knows Izzie is one of my favorite characters."
And when asked if she was insulted at Heigl's remarks, Rhimes added, “It’s not insulting the writers per se. The first half of the season she had a very strong storyline with George that played out a lot more comedic than a lot of her storylines … The back half of the season, Katherine asked me to write her light so that she could do her movie. I don’t feel insulted.”
How diva. If she asked you to write less for her, you should have written her out!
Silvio Horta from Ugly Betty jokes, “I would put her in a coma."
That wouldn't be a bad idea!
And to keep things juicy next season, Grey's Anatomy is expanding on the lesbian storyline.
Rhimes says, “We have a really interesting, funny way of laying out a story for Erica (Brooke Smith) and Callie (Sara Ramirez). It’s not your typical way of dealing with the storyline; we sat down with them and talked about women who figure out they’re lesbians later in life and we found out some interesting things to play out.”

Isaih Washington got the "heave ho" from Grey's. WHY NOT KATHERINE HEIGL? I think she is one of the worst actresses there are. What a poor choice of being in movies("Knocked Up"- so boring I fell asleep in the middle of it; at home, not in the movie theatre; on pay per view, not renting the dvd and "27 Dresses"; not wasting my time to see it; the previews looked bad enough). Katherine, you should be a model; not an actress..

A GREAT show, a horrible story line idea. I am really sick of Hollywood shoving gay people down my throat…. no pun intended. Does every show have to have a "token GAY now? " .. this is a great show, why why why did they have to go there on the season finale? It made me SICK!!!!! I will be changing the channel EACH AND EVERY TIME I SEE "ERICA" and "CALLIE"

Smoking sucks, it's a hard habit to break. I am 34 diagnosed with emphysema
(looks misspelled..sorry) anyway, I tried all kinds of different ways to give it up. I am smoking less & less using CHANTIX.
Kat H. please try to give it up for yourself. Most smokers love their cigs but realize the risks especially if you decide to have a family. We all want to enjoy our children & I really want to live to become a Grandmother & even maybe a Great Grandmother without having a shitty poor quality of life. I do not want to end up on oxygen 24/7 or having to sleep in a Lazy boy in order to keep from choking on my own phlem. God forbid I end up with Lung Cancer. Unfortunately, my Mother in-law who was also my best friend had a miserable life for the last 8 years. I watched the slow miserable decline of her life from Emphysema to Lung Cancer & cared for her until she finally died. Her quality of life was sad & it is a slow painful death. Which dealing with it 1st hand forced me to finally decide to give them up. Hospice, Thank God was here to assist me but watching her decline & her dying in my arms & knowing my children will not remember her is a hard reality. Smoking sucks!

Damn right i will be watching. hello the season ended with Mer and Der making out! Who cares about anything else. Izzy is the one of the best characters on the show. If you don't think so, look up when Denny died online. Best episode ever. She needs to pull the stick out her ass and get back to work.
