Avril Cheats and YouTube Supports It?

We mentioned last month that Avril Lavigne's "hard core fans" were on a mission to make her video for the song Girlfriend the most played ever on YouTube.
Well, as of Friday morning, Team Avril toppled the now former #1 spot holder, the Evolution of Dance video, with 92,696,978 views.
BUT, Douchette Supremo's video didn't get there by legit means!
As we've previously reported - and corroborated by Wired - a website was created to automatically play the Girlfriend video every 15 seconds. Avril's fans inflated her play counts, propelling her vid to "most viewed" ever.
Avril's "Band Aids" plan to use this shady tactic til her vid gets to the 100 million views mark, the first-ever to do so on YouTube.
YouTube's policy is to remove videos from the most-played section if they discover that their view count system has been gamed.
Why haven't they done that??????
YouTube still has April's video listed in the site's "most viewed of all time" category.
Wired went on to reveal that YouTube has probably turned a blind eye to Avril's shadiness because the site's making advertising money off of the fake views.
Shady Lavigne's manager revealed the following at a business conference in London on Thursday:
"there's about a $2 million check waiting for her for all her YouTube plays."
Douchette and her managers are getting a cut of YouTube advertising sales money! Money they didn't even get by legit means!
We hope the shadily earned money is going to a charity.

Take "when you gone" "hot" "girlfriend" you have over 138 million views which totals around 13 million dollars in advertising revenue.

Well first off your title is quite misleading, by saying Avril Cheats, Avril did not do any cheating at all, secondly, YouTube has stated that the false views have been removed and they are not being counted, and that they will not counted towards advertising views. Thirdly, the views that supposedly pushed Avril's video to number the number one spot buy the auto refresh page happened only in the last month or so; and those supporting the Evolution of Dance video have resorted to trying to do the same thing with browser plugins, so should the Evolution of dance video be removed too?
Furthermore, the Evolution of Dance video has been out for a much longer period of time than Avril's Girlfriend video and her video has ascended at a much faster rate than the Evolution of Dance video in a shorter period of time anyway, and Avril's video has been about to overtake the top spot for months without the need of any supposed auto refresh methods needed anyway, it really was only a matter of time before Avril’s Girlfriend video took the top spot anyway, which is pretty amazing when you think about it because Avril’s video is not allowed to be embedded all over the internet as the Evolution of Dance video currently allowed to be. It is an inevitable fact that the Evolution of Dance video’s top spot would be over taken by Avril’s Girlfriend video in short period of time anyway. So why are you so upset over the mathematics of probability playing out here?

The video is still up because it hasn't been cheated in any way. The Human Without A Brain who runs this website has actually helped her get to the top spot, mentioning these stories about the situation, directing people to go and put in a view or two to the video's total.
