He's alive!
The seemingly retired rapper has been MIA for a few years now.
But, no worries - reports are that Slim Shady is about to begin working on his first new album since 2004!
A protege of Slim Shady's, Bishop Lamont, says Eminem is excited to be working on the project.
He's apparently "got a lot to get off his chest."
Lamont also said that Eminem was "emotionally devastated" following the killing of his friend and rapper Proof back in 2006.
He is now channeling his feelings into his music.
Lamont says, “He went through what he had to go through, and now he’s been able to take all the pain and stress and put it out in his music."
So what happened between 2004-2006?
Why didn't do he produce anything during that time? Or 2007????
No news yet on when the new album will be released.
We can wait. We can definitely wait.

In 2006 he released an album called Eminem Presents: The Re-Up to help launch new Shady Records artists with other rappers on his label.

I can't believe he's making a new album, don't get me wrong I love his music but he totally contradicts what he's saying. In toy soldiers he says,

His friend dies (like he does in the film clip) and he still continues to make music. What happened to walking away before it goes any further?

With as shitty as "hip-hop" is right now, it could use a shot in the arm. Like it or not, when he first came out as an underground artist and followed with The Slim Shady LP, He was one of the best to ever do it. He lost his fire after he blew up, which is something that happens. Hopefully he has some of the fire back in his belly and is gonna save us from all of the bullshit commercial trendy hacks polluting our airwaves today.
