Why is Christian Bale making these films? Is he now the actor you call on when you want to renew something old. His acting talents are wasted on action films and it bugs me. Especially when I've seen him in roles in which he plays a great dramatic character. Oh and can we please get his English accent back. I miss it.
Summer 2009? Let's get to Christmas first.
Totally has the signature of whoever directed the Dawn of the Dead remake. That was a good flick. If I'm right, I'm looking forward to it….one fucking year from now.

Okay, it's JOHN Connor, not SEAN Connor you moron!!!!!!! I hate all these new fans who have never even seen the first Terminator, which was amazing. Terminator 2 was one of the most perfect movie endings ever, I refuse to see ANYTHING past that. I love Christian Bale, but sorry, won't be seeing this one.
All the teeny boppers that think this looks good, please at least see the first movie, the background story is what makes the first 2 movies so great.

I think Terminator ended with #2…but also didnt #3 prove that judgment day wouldnt happen because they stopped skynet? I think they should stop trying to make money off of an amazing movie that came out over 15 years ago..cant the producers and everyone come up with a new idea now and this is all comming from a huge T 1 & 2 movie fan. I think i have had enough, but this is just my opinon.
Terminator 3 was a huge disappointment, but they never gave Edward Furlong a fucking chance and it would have been awesome if the same actor returned as John Conner, but the producers said that he was "too messed up on drugs" which Edward denied and he later reported that he wasn't even APPROACHED for role that was rightfully HIS character. It sucked.
Christian Bale is British and one of the best actors around. Plus if he wasn't married, I would fuck him in a heartbeat! He's fantastic! Perfectly cast for the role of the adult John Conner. What happened to Josh Brolin being cast as a Terminator? Is he still in the new flick? because if he was, that's two talented hunks in one movie.

I love sci-fi flicks and the first Terminator is one of my all time favorites. Cool, original concept, great action sequences that still outshine much of the computer generated bullshit today, and fine acting that helped the audience believe what was happening on the screen could actually be real. It was truly an innovative, scary, and unpredictable ride!
As is generally the rule, the sequels failed to live up to the brilliance of the original, even with much bigger budgets and more resources available. II was only average entertainment, and III was just plain silly.
It's highly unlikely Salvation will match the genius of the first Terminator. It's impossible to duplicate a masterpiece, so they shouldn't even try. What made Aliens (II) such a great sequel is that it had a completely different approach from the original. Hopefully, the film makers of Salvation recognize they can't improve on perfection and do something totally unexpected!

Ah, perhaps the three most beautiful words in the English language, "Starring Christian Bale." I don't generally get too worked up about movie actors but this guy is something special. He has an air of masculine confidence that is irresistible and the face and body of a Greek god. Even thinking about how to describe him makes me have to get up and change my panties…Oh, la, la, he is one hunky man!
It looks good, but it won't be the same without the Governator.

ok i'm with you all the way….if you're gonna go see the fourth installment of the terminator movies, you HAVE to see at least the first movie. Terminator 1 and 2 were amazing but the third one was terrible! Why would they make another if the last one sucked so much?!

A lot of people are saying that IV will be crap without Ahnold but I have to say it really irritated me how he had to play the "good guy" in the sequels. The "buddy" relationship that developed between him and John Connor was extremely annoying and too sentimental for my taste. Terminators aren't supposed to be warm and cuddly because they don't have emotions! I'm looking forward to a scary new terminator. Just my opinion…
Why isn't Edward Furlong in it anymore? I liked him in the other Terminator movies.

I find it interesting that previews nowadays tell you nothing what the movie is about. I saw nothing that made me want to go to this film. It looks like the studio is just banking on the film's title to get people to see it instead of giving us a good preview. This is why I don't go to movies anymore.
