They still believe in some form of a higher power, which can be just as crazy as Jesus or whatever a person's interpretation of God is. You're calling scientology a scam for money? It is horrific. $cientology is basically a tax exempt pyramid scheme with the seemingly altruistic label of a 'religion. $cientology and the dianetics from which it is descended is a mish-mash of outdated, discounted psychological concepts, pseudo-science and pure fantasy (space aliens and an ancient galactic civilization). It is not the benign helpful belief system it presents itself as, nor is it a religion. All they want is your MONEY. And destroying people's lives is the cost of doing business.

There's actually something called Reynaud's Syndrome that makes people's hands turn blue from cold, stress, etc. It's fairly common, so maybe it had nothing to do with some sort of scientology cleansing thing….
In the original picture you can't really tell where the dark hands are coming from, and there is a black man standing beside Tom….could it be posible that it was HIS hand being held by Tom and not Katies?? Unless of course I have missed the reason her hands were that dark or a picture showing that they did belong to her…
