Jessica Simpson performed at her first proper country show this past weekend and things did not go as she would have liked.
When the wannabe country singer took to the stage at the Country Thunder Festival in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, on Saturday night, she was greeted with a warm welcome of boos, reports the local paper.
And, her reviews were less than stellar!
"Many audience members found her attempt to crossover into country irritating and that her vocals lacked a southern sound," says one critic.
Poor Jess.

Shut up Perez! Stop hating on Jessica!!! I've read lots of comments on other sites saying the media has over exaggerated some boos from a small group of ppl. Majority of ppl who saw her perform live said she was fab and has a great voice. The media are so mean to her. She doesn't deserve it!
People need to stop!!!! The girl is beautiful and most people would be lucky to look half as good as her. Get a life!!!
Her brief career got sacked, so her brilliant Father thought Country Music would welcome his daughter with honor since it is his perception that country music is sub-par- she has not earned her way in CM and should be booed off the stage!

Any positive comments here are from her dad or their employees. People don't like her and she has no voice. She has also gained some serious weight and honestly, she looks pregnant. That is how desperate she is, probably got pregnant to tie Romo down and figured she could easily do what her sister did. Some good Christian family! What a bunch of fakes!
