A federal appeals court has thrown out a $550,000 fine against CBS for the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show that ended with Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction."
On Monday, a three-judge panel in Philadelphia ruled that the Federal Communications Commission "acted arbitrarily and capriciously" in issuing the fine for the fleeting image of nudity.
We think all the puritans freaked out for nothing.
Her nip was covered with a tassel!

Shai, you hit the nail right on the head. I can not think of anything meaningful or ground breaking that Madonna has done music wise other than American Life. People want to say that Janet is only famous because of her brothers when the fact is that Janet had to work her ass off for years to make a name for herself and to break through her brother's shadow.
