I LOVE ROBERT!!!!!
Horrible acting

But the trailer makes it look good

If you read the books, and try looking at it from a different point of view, it's actually the best damn book in the world, to put it lightly. I hope the movie is just as good.
I love this! Amazing! I'm so excited for the movie! Obviously Robert wasn't people's most choice for Edward but seeing him in the trailers. I think he was a good choice. I love Laurent's voice very sexy. So super excited now! YAY!

For those of you stating Kristen Jaymes Stewart isn't pretty, well, the character of Bella, in the Twilight series of books, isn't meant to be drop-dead gorgeous. I think she's pretty in her own natural, fresh way and her hair is gorgeous.

dude, i cant wait for the movie to come out! i have read the books and waiting for breakign dawn to come out. but i honestly think they changed a lot of things in the book for the movie. im still excited, but still. i mean, he doesnt "jump" through the trees, he runs. i mean, seriously.

i think this is a great looking trailer!
and i wish people would just shut up about kristen and robert. kristen is the perfect bella, in age, and personality. bellas not suppose to be the "typical blonde and pretty girl" she's a pretty brownheaded girl, that isn't so girly. which is perfect for bella. and robert is perfect. he may not be up to everybody's standard for "hotness" or "so beautifuly that it hurts your eyes" he is still the perfect edward. cuz no one is perfect like he is described in the book. so we got to do what we can in that area.
the books are amazing. it makes you learn alot about yourself, and life. and makes you think about things in your life. and that's what a great book should do. and i am soo happy they are making this into a movie.
it may not stick 100% to the book. but it can't. it still looks amazing and i think everyone in the cast and crew is doing a great job.
I love the Twilight series, and I can't wait for the movie and the fourth book. The new trailer is hot!

Loved the books. The movie isn't supposed to be a direct visual translation of the book. The movie is not called, Twilight the Book, for a reason. It's just meant to bring the story and the characters to life. I wasn't too sure about Robert playing Edward in the beginning, but the more that I watch the trailers and all the screen-caps that are being released, I fall in love a little more everyday. Kristen isn't exactly who I would have cast as Bella, she just has this image about her that expresses too much strength. Bella isn't necessarily weak in the mental and self-preservation aspect, but she is described as being really awkward and physically weak. Kristen just ruins that image. I think that the best way to have resolved this is to cast no-names. Though, now I've become too attached to them to think of anyone else portraying their characters. Like Stephenie Meyer said, everyone has their own image of what Bella and Edward, and every character for that matter, should look like. You just have to get over it, because your imagination doesn't match everyone elses'. Now quit bitchin' people and just enjoy the movie/books!

most of my friends are in love with this series but when they heard that there was a movie coming out, they immediately dropped the book and started to obsess over another. they say that the movie won't reach their expectations because when they read Twilight, they imagined the way edward would look like and such. they don't think that the cast members of Twilight won't close to what they pictured in their minds.

Re: Milk – okay the movie is going to be great and Laurent is actually dark if not African American, so they're not changing the ethnicity just to be PC. He's a good actor. And if you were really a Twilight fan you'd know that it's BREAKING Dawn, not NEW Dawn. Get your facts straight.

first of all for anyone who hasn't read the books, bella is supposed to be completely ordinary compared to edward. shes not supposed to be drop-dead gorgeous. second robert patttinson is amazing for the role he brings the mystery to him. and kristen stewart is also perfect the body type and look is an exact match.

Re: Milk – Apparently you're not that big of a fan if you can't get the name of the last book right. It's BREAKING DAWN. Not New Dawn. And New Moon isn't going to be that great seeing as how we hardly get any Edward…hopefully, they'll be able to fill in Edward's story since we don't really know much of what Edward was like when he left.

truthfully, im a huge fan of twilight, and i think the movie will be good. but im not the biggest fan of the casting either yet at the same time i think it's not worth it to complain so much. everyone had their own "edward image" in mind when they read the book so clearly not everyone's going to agree on the casting and some of the scenes. oh, and honestly i would've liked gaspard ulliel to play edward =) but what's done is done so just go watch the movie and enjoy it when it comes out =)!

Oh, and for all you Robert haters out there.. I respect your opinion, but I'm absolutely positive Rob's gonna do an AMAZINGG job. Just look at the trailer and his facial expressions! Even Stephenie herself, ENTIRELY approves of Rob as Edward. Come on, people! Yeah, it's too bad he's not your perfect mental picture of Edward [at least not some of you.], but that isn't even possible now is it?

As Stephenie quoted in the Entertainment Weekly magazine, "When God made Robert Pattinson, He was just showing off" I entirely agree.
Rob/Spunk Ransom/Rpattz is an amazing actor and whoever can't get over themselves at this point in time, needs to get a life.
