Every movie adaptation of a book is going to be a little different than the book, and that's not something that's going to change. There are, actually. The beach scene is included as well as the prom scene with him- Taylor Lautner has been cast as Jacob and he's been in a few interviews. They've also got Sam and Embry in it as well.

I just don't see the same charm the books have, and I feel like they're trying to market it to be an edgy action movie, which is so off point. By the way, who really cares if Laurent is black in the movie? I think that's the least of our concerns in terms of casting. He's not even a major character.
