Oh emm gee
so freaking excited for the movie
loved the book
but kill Jacob Black
Ah! The book's sooo much better than this looks! Who is that they have playing Edward? Ew. And the girl should be better looking too. Goodness, you can't let just anyone put together these kinds of movies.
Unfortunately, I'll end up watching it anyway, but still. I expected better than this, seriously.
I can't wait for this movie, Kristen Stewarts is a great actress to play Bella, she has starred in many other movies, and has done well with all of them. As for Robert Pattison, all we can say, is he IS our Edward. Whether we like him or not, weve got to grow to like him, because he is not going to change. But WHERE is Jacob???? I personally don't know what to think of Jacob. In all of these trailers, Jacob has not made a single appearence. Is he even a good actor? Nobody knows!!!!!!

CHECK OUT HER MOVIE "IN THE LAND OF WOMEN"—SHE iiiiiiissssss BELLA PERSONIFIED IN THAT MOVIE AND SHE SHOWS OFF WHAT A GREAT ACTRESS SHE IS.
BELLA SHOULD BE AWKWARD, HESITANT, AND YET ABLE TO SEE THROUGH EDWARD'S PRETENSES WITH HER INTUITION. KRISTEN HAS THE ACTING CHOPS AND THE INTELLIGENCE TO PULL OFF THAT COMBINATION OF QUALITIES ONSCREEN.
ALSO CHECK HER OUT IN "INTO THE WILD"-SHE WAS AMAZING IN THAT TOO.
It does not look like the movie will do the book justice.

Re: so – I'm pretty sure no one is complaining too highly about her acting. Just her personal look. Like Jezebel said, she looks like too strong of a person to play this character. Bella all but breathes through Edward to live throughout the series of books. She tries to be independent, but it's like watching a toddler take their first steps with her. I'm sick of everyone bashing everyone else for an opinion.

It hurts me inside. The book was amazing but this preview….he looks like a flying squirrel! I am going to see it…because I love me some Edward…maybe I will be happily surprised. I've read all the Harry Potter books and love those movies…i'm just not feeling this movie…it looks cheesy.
Okay. HONESTLY. I seriously DON'T see how ANY of you can think this movie will be good if you're a HUGE Twilight fan like myself. I mean, Kristen has like NO EMOTION in her voice. It's like she doesn't even RELATE to the character she's playing!! And isn't Bella supposed to be GORGEOUS? Like, Bella herself thinks that she's just a plain jane, but EVERYONE ELSE sees her as SOO gorgeous. I'm sorry, but Kristen is NOT gorgeous. SHE'S HORRIBLE FOR THE ROLE. I GUESS Robert is okay for his part, but Kristen as Bella just RUINS the whole movie for me. Ugh…I'm still going to see it but it looks like a MAJOR letdown.

If you are such a huge fan of the series, why are you imagining Bella gorgeous?
Bella is suppossed to be a pretty enough girl, but very girl next door. She mainly has guys falling for her at school because she's just a new girl. She's suppossed to be sorta mousey looking actually. Thin, but not toned; short, but not tall; mousey brown hair; overly pale skin. The main features that are suppossed to be pretty are her eyes and lips, that's all.

Bella in the series is physically weak, but mentally quite brave. She hangs out with vampires, and even outsmarts them to go save her mom in Twilight. She ends up saving Edward as well in New Moon.
I think Kristen's work in that movie I mentioned illustrates the mix of vulnerability and moxie that's needed to play bella. Bella is not a shrinking violet, but a person whose strong will tends to get ahead of her fragile humanity alot of the times.

robert suks! this movie will suck as well. the whole book is based on emotion, so how are they going to show that in a kids movie? besides, the casting's terrible, i feel sorry for the stephenie meyer, she has to pretend she likes the movie when they are really butchering her work

It isn't supposed to appeal to children, and if this movie didn't have any emotion it would suck majorly. The emotion gives the movie more fans. Twilight is FULL of emotion incase you didn't notice.

It looks weird because of the director, I was so upset when i heard of the director.. I can't think of her name, but her movies are awful, they're all filmed in the same style and it's really annoying. Twilight and the sequels could be HUGE action fests but with her behind the camera, they're going to look like shit. I'm obsessed with the books, but the movie looks terrible. i'm disappointed by the casting choices, especially robert pattinson, seriously. Ew.

I am SOOOOO obsessed with these books, Although I just recently got introduced to them. I finished Twilight in ONE day because I couldn't put it down and LOVED it. It is by far better than Harry Potter, and I consider myself a huge Harry Potter fan. The love story is so beautiful…….Aaaawww I cant wait until December 12th. And I think Robert Pattinson is a good choice for Edward. His bone structure is Amazing, he totally looks the part =) I just wish they would have gotten a Native American to play Jacob Black. The kid they chose to be him doesnt look anything like the book describes, especially the whole Native American thing. But I am super excited to see the movie regardless. You gotta ♥ Edward Cullen =)

If you are going to bitch at people bashing the movie then learn to fucking spell. Yes Stephanie Meyer picked the MAJORITY of the cast…but she made some poor choices based on this trailer and the others I have seen. I am a HUGE Twilight fan and I think that the Bella choice is completely wrong…not because of her looks but her acting is awful. I've seen Kristen Stewart in other movies where she did really well, but this one is clearly not going to be some of her better work (so everyone needs to stop telling people to watch her other stuff because she was better in her other stuff) I'm not downing Stephanie Meyer's work. I love her work. I just think that her and the studio could have made some better choices acting wise…caring about how this movie looks because I love the series so much does not make me a CONCEITED little bitch.
Kristen Stewarts deserves a chance. She has done well in pasts movies, true. We've only seen the trailers, that doesn't mean that her acting for the whole movie will be bad. GIVE HER A CHANCE!!!!!
