As much as I love Leo as an actor, I have to agree! Celebrities are ALWAYS in the public eye and regular people want to know everything about them and see every move they make, and celebs think it's some kind of crime! They feel entitled to their privacy (which I admit, they deserve SOMETIMES, cause the paps can get out of hand). However, they have to expect that when they go out to a public place (such as a club or a bar) that people ARE going to notice and want an autograph or a picture or whatever (even if it's without permission). It's kind of their obligation as a celeb to do things like this. And they shouldn't blow off their fans either because people are going to start believing they're assholes if they do, and pretty soon, they're not going to have anymore fans. I think it's hilarious when celebs cover their faces (or themselves) with jackets or anything they can find so avoid being photographed or noticed (as if people have NO IDEA who they are!)!
I like Leo D alot!!! but in a way you are right, leo is probably the most recognized actor in that every single person on the planet has seen Titanic, but people are not interested in his life anymore like before, he aint the heart throb he once was, and him covering his face like he is the #1 star in hollywood is anoying……….that is what i thought when i saw the pic, even before i read what you wrote.

He hardly let anyone near him and surrounded his table with bodyguards. A few fans tried to snap pics with their cell phones and he lost it. How does he expect to get privacy? He's in a city where celebs are somewhat rare to be seen. Everyone thought he was a jerk!

I think most of you people are getting Celeberties like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and 'wannabe-famous' people confused with people like Leonardo Dicaprio, who have REAL talent confused. People like Leo DO DESERVE PRIVACY when they want it.
And I also think everyone is getting paparazzi(which most of them are probably ex-criminals who can't hold down a real job) and [b] Responsible Journalism [/b] mixed up as well. Paparazzis DON'T give PROPER interviews, all they do is stalk them AND their families. (have you seen those videos where there surrounding there children)
And Alot of you are saying they need the attention. Yes, that's why they go to REAL magizens and TALK SHOWS to promote their movies. Will a picture of Leo coming out of McDonald's REALLY go make you see his movies? No it probaby won't. And how often do we hear about Will Smith or even see a picture of him outside of an event? Hardly ever and he's considered the most bankable actor in the world!
Do you guys know why they cover there faces? When it's at night, there's usually a mass of paps everywhere and the flashes do seem to get annoying and possibly hurts the eyes. And also, it DEVALUES the picture, so if the paps are going to make money of of them, they might as well Devalue it in the processes.
What you do for a living SHOULD NOT effect your personal life at all. If it wasn't for Actors/Actresses and Singers, we wouldn't have TV or Music or any form of entertainment AT ALL.

last time i checked, he gets paid to make movies and entertain….not stand there and give everyone an opportunity to take a photoshoot of him OUTSIDE of work…so i think everyone should leave him alone…although he should want to be having pics taken of him cuz he's beautiful!
