Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are going to Iraq, folks.
"My brother was an airborne ranger in Afghanistan and Iraq,” Montag tells TV's Extra. "It’s very important to me and important to Spencer to support the troops and go over there.”
Does anyone wanna give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they're doing it for any other reason that positive press?

Please explain to me why soldiers in Iraq give two shits about them? They are exploiting the sacrifices those soldiers are making and have made just to stay in the media spotlight.
If Speidi wants to show their undying support why don't they enlist?
I, for one, would recommend latrine cleaner or hand grenade pin cleaner.
If I remember it correctly her brother died there. So yeah, I fucking understand why she's going.

If you want to support the troops Spenser then take the place of someone whose been over there for 3 or 4 tours. These two are so repulsive.

Only 2 good things could come out of this. (1). They wrap Heidi from head to toe in traditional, female Iraqui garb. No one will have to look at her butt-ugly face. (2). Lots of Iraqui men will shake hands with Spencer, therefore leaving his hands brown from all the feces smeared on it.
Why won't they just GO AWAY already? I'm all for supporting our troops…but I cannot think of two people who would make me want to turn a gun on myself more than Heidi and Spencer!

Did Heidi ever say her brother was in the National Guard?? I'm genuinely asking because I do not know. But one thing I do know..
is that there can be Airbourne Rangers….see there are more branches of the military other than the National Guard (all are important, regardless of whether they serve time on foreign soil). The Army Rangers predate our Constitution…and US Army Airbourne Rangers saw extensive battle in the Vietnam War.
If she was talking strictly in terms of the National Guard, then I apologize, but from this excerpt, I am not privy to such information…and then maybe there is no such thing as Airbourne rangers in the NG…but lets not be so short-sighted. As much as I detest Heidi and Spencer, don't diminish what her brother did for his country. And another thing that I have to get off my chest…ARMY WIVES, NAVY WIVES, MARINE WIVES, EVERY MILITARY WIFE…just because you married a military man, doesn't make you an expert on the subject of our military. God bless you all for the lifestyle that you choose to live for the love of your man…not many could do what you do! I respect that to NO END!! yea well my husband was over there with the marines for a whole year - the whole first year of our marriage….but you don't see me hoping on a plane…..i love the troops and i appreciate what they do…don't make a mockery of it by acting like you care so you can get your photo in a magazine!

I just returned from Iraq recently and have been in the military for over 5 years. Those two give this country a bad name. Not one quality either of those two posess can even come close to one which represents 'support of the troops'. Our men and women are over there (most of whom had no choice in their deployment time or length) defending this and other nations' freedom. Now here come two wannabe celebrities who are just looking for any cracked window to slide through for another 5 seconds of fame. Ridiculous! If that is support, keep it. Furthermore, while I respect and support what her brother did with his efforts for the military, I'm pretty sure he didn't die over there fighting for his country. He was killed in an accident back home. So 'Speidi' can stop taking away from all of the true heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their right to act so inappropriate.
To 'Speidi', take your support elsewhere. We want real Americans on our side!
