DC Comics is going from the big screen to your computer screen.
The makers of Batman, Superman, and several other superheroes is creating DC Universe Online.
It's going to be sort of an ongoing and evolving virtual world.
A never-ending role playing game!
Users will be allowed to create their own superhero or villain. They'll then be able to team up with heroes like Superman and Wonder Woman in the 3-D world.
The game is being made for Sony's PlayStation 3 and Windows PCs.

Not compatible for MACs???
That's some major points lost.
DC Comics artist Jim Lee says, "You chose your physique, your name and your power base and based on (that), you have a tree of powers that you can develop. You can be a speedster, or fly fast, or be one of these characters who swims."
The game has been in the making for the past three years.
As of yet though, no release date has been set.
Lee says, "When it's ready. They really haven't cut any corners, and are really putting all the resources in to make an awesome game."

AHAHAHAHHA Open PC platform? Windows is not source. Silly. And Bill Gates is more of a Big Brother type than Jobs. Jobs just wants to make neat stuff. It's gates that has "control the world" mentality.
It wasn't Apple getting dragged through the court system with anti-competitive practices all those decades.
And Apple software is too expensive? It's the SAME PRICE as PC software. Well OS X is cheaper to own than Windows is actually. (You actually get a FULL install OS X disk for $99 instead of a "update" CD install for more than that price.

So so far we've had a lot of windroids repeat a bunch of FUD (An MS term coined as Fear Uncertainty and Doubt, it was used to lie about the competition without actually lying) about Apple and Macs that simply aren't true.
Why do people STILL do this? If you'd ask a psychologist they would tell you that said people are either.
1. Insecure or
2. Trying to convince themselves.
There is that old saying. It's better to keep your "mouth" shut and have people wonder if you are an idiot, than open your "mouth" and remove all doubt.

They should build a native mac version, I mean the mac is becoming more and more popular. Most of my friends own Macs nowadays. Yes, Macs can run Windows, but I'd still rather play a native version. I hate running Windows on my mac. YUCK
Yeah Like I said, I've had no reason to run Windows on my Mac. Then again I am not a big gamer either. Anyhow, Any game runs on a Mac. Not all games support OS X however. And they don't do it because Macs suck either.

Now Apple is learning from master Bill on how to price themselves to the masses instead of to unemployed Starbuck loiterers that like to talk about how they love spending $140.00/ month on their iphones that work for 2 months before they need to send it back. I don't see Jobs donating any money lately. He too busy making "neat stuff" trying to catch up to Gates, who is giving 95% of his wealth away just like Buffett did. Sounds like Big Brother, huh.

Uh I hope don't have history as your major in college. MS got their monopoly through anti-competitive behavior. The Gov took them to court over it many times. They even went to court over stealing Apple code etc. They settled under the table for that one.

Boy, your lame reasons sure convinced me.
1. Macs can play any games a Windows machine can. Just as fast too. Check out those 8 core pentium Mac towers out there.
2. I have NEVER had to use any virus software or programs to get rid of adware. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO. Windows is a CONSUMER OS. You don't have to scan your toaster for viruses do you? (Though if MS had it's way you would..) MS isn't in the business to make great products. Just stay relevent and keep that (now partial) monopoly going.
BTW Mac users grew 4% over the last year. Only 1% of them were new computer users. The rest were disgruntled PC users sick of having to waste time "Fixing" their computer to get it to work. When OS X just works.
Not to mention that Vista is less responsive than XP. And XP is less responsive to OS X. Why do you think the latter two OSs make a better gaming machine because of that? LAWLS.
These arguments remind me when I was helping teach a college class when Win95 came out and all the PC zealots started bashing Macs. They had no clue then either.
Again better to not post something and make someone WONDER if your an idiot, than post, and remove all doubt.
It sounds like a rip off of World of Warcraft, but hell you don't get to fly on WoW
It might even be using the same engine. This might also bring those that aren't into the characters in WoW but would be interested in making their own superhero. (I used to draw and make up my own as a kid)
I know I hated FPS games. But loved the Jedi series.
