Very disturbing report.
Beijing, the home of the 2008 Olympics, appears to be a racist place.
A report claims that bar owners in the 'party' section of Beijing were asked by the government to refuse service to black patrons.
Bar owners near the Workers' Stadium in central Beijing say they have been forced by Public Security Bureau officials to sign pledges agreeing not to let black people enter their premises.
"Uniformed Public Security Bureau officers came into the bar recently and told me not to serve black people or Mongolians," said the co-owner of a western-style bar, who asked not to be named.
WTF?
Does that mean black athletes can't celebrate at a bar with their team mates after years of training and working hard?!
Isn't it great to see that an event that's meant to to unify the world is happening in a place that subscribes to disturbing ideologies?

In America, Chineese are of the minority but in China they are the majority. Although it is a bit depressing, it is nothing new. Is this really a surprise? It's CHINA! They hate their OWN people! Why wouldn't they hate other races? I know that there must be many good people in China, but their "government" is definitely fucked. (i'm sure it will be back when its all over….
So to translate the above what the police are really saying is they don't want any drug dealers or hookers around until the end of the games. Not that they are racist- i guess you just have to have lived there to understand…

This isn't the first time a foreign country has shown prejudice toward people (athletics) of sub-Saharan African descent. In European professional football games, Europeans have been known to chant racist comments toward the African players of the opposing team (like monkey, waving Nazi flags, etc.) Now FIFA has made attempts to solve the problem by making a public announcement before games and advertising "Say No to Racism" along the stadium sidelines but this shows that racism not only exists in the United States but in other countries aboard. But I am not really surprised by the ignorance of China or Europe because they did not have to go through the ethnic conflicts that the U.S. went through 40-50 years ago. Their countries have always been dominated by one ethnicity and never had another one to challenge it.
Do people seriously believe this ??? chinese People love to make money they will not refuse people from any race entry to bars etc .

The Chinese imprison and torture people who look like them: Myanmar aka Burma(China's militia rules it now), Tibet(China illegally occupied it in 1959), Taiwan(China's pushing for a "One-China" policy but Taiwan wants to be its own State).
China's main news source Xinhuadotnet is state run. Its media is heavily censored. Its internet police is larger than the NYPD. Even Western media like CNN sometimes run blank when it's covering controversial topics. Google and Yahoo, unfortunately have compromised their mission statements and have succumbed to China's censorship policy and have turned in several political dissidents(in other words, Chinese ppl who question their government).
Democracy is a sensitive topic in China.
Although this is just one example and reflective of one individual, China, on the whole, doesn't deserve to host the Olympics.
If you reply to this post as a Chinese, i understand that you're being patriotic and loyal to your country. But it won't hurt to take one step back and look at the issue at large.

We are educated, good looking black people and the Japanese did not want to serve us at their revolving restaurant that overlooks the city. They hemmed and hawed. Uh I dont think that is true that all chinese people hate blacks. I read the article, and it say they are banning Blacks and Mongolians due to an increase of drugs and prostitution by Africans and Mongolian immigrants at their bars. Asia is one of the most racist places in the world- you only have to read their magazines and watch TV over there to see they're all dying to be white- literally- in India they have a caste system from which you can work out who the highest and lowest are based on skin tone-
