It's official!
Nick Lachey = the kiss of death.
The second episode of ABC's reality show High School Musical: Get In The Picture fell 18% in the ratings.
Not to mention that it had shiteous numbers during its premier on Sunday.
The show has now become the lowest-rated Monday night show among the major broadcast networks.
This has resulted in ABC's lowest-rated Monday night in three years.
One insider says, “People always try to sell us reality shows based on football — because nothing scores higher ratings then football. But people watch football because it’s actually football."
The sources adds, "A reality show about football — like a reality show about ‘High School Musical’ — it’s like you’re trying to sell the viewer with something that the show is not. Plus, it’s a kids brand on a network that targets adults 18 to 49. And, in this case, the show’s prize is weak, so the stakes are low.”
That makes sense.
Why would 18 to 49 year olds want to watch a HSM reality show? They should have aired that on the Disney channel or the ABC Family channel.
Poor Nick Lachey. He can't seem to get anything right.!
Failed marriage. Talentless girlfriend. Dead music career.
It seems like Lachey is better suited to join VH1's the Surreal Life instead of hosting his own show.

I don't believe it's Nick Lachey, but rather the Show's subject matter. High School Musical is not a mainstream interest, but has a small, niche following among young people. Many are also getting tired, tired, tired of talent shows.

the way i see it, nobody watches tv in the summer….it's called being outside doing summery things and being active (at least thats what i do in the summer)
things might have been different if they aired the show in the fall when more people spend their evenings inside glued to the tv
I don't think that it's Nick fault that the show did so badly. I think it's the fact that people are getting tired of these signing shows that's all.

There's no way Nick can be blamed for the shows ratings. It's because of Nick that anybody watched the show at all. He is a great guy who is trying to have a career. Perez Hilton is a disgrace to always find mean things to say about people in order to have a career himself.
I think that this is the gayest website ever created!! Why would you want to go off of something a gay guy made about bashing celebrities like Nick who has done nothing to anyone. He is probably the nicest and most down-to-earth guy!! PLUS like Heidi said he did win the Clash of the Choirs so what does that tell you?? He is more popular then Perez "DUMBASS" Hilton!!! So get a life Perez….
