We were giving him the benefit of the doubt, but things are not looking good for Christian Bale.
A new report has us reevaluating what we thought we knew of the Batman star.
The actor was on set last Friday shooting Terminator 4 at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico when all of a sudden he exploded!
During one scene, the director of cinematography, messed up a shot - or so Bale thought.
Christian reportedly went ballistic, screaming "I will kick your ass", amongst other harsh things.
Several hundred people - cast, crew and extras - heard the outburst.
Not cool, Christian.
Not cool at all!

As somebody with messed up family members, I can really sympathize with Christian Bale. Why would his family members report him to the police at such an important time in his life if they weren't trying to sabotage him in some way? If I'm right and his family is crazy, then he deserves more than a break.
People are blowing totally out proportion!!! It might not even be a beg deal cause the police would have already charged him with assault, but they instead gave a date to come back. Maybe he was just having a bad day i wasn't in a good mood and this incident just happened.
i,d be pissed too if my costar who is dead (may he rest in peace) was getting all the rave reviews it seems like all the reporters want to ask him about is what it was like to work with heath when he put on this incredible performance unfortunatly for him noooobody is talking about him getting an oscar
cut the guy some slack. He's got every media outlet in the world on him right now, just premiered the biggest movie on the planet, and is in the middle of filming another. Guy's probably under just a *tiny* bit of stress.
wow now someone is coming out with this story. It all seems fishy to me. I think we should just leave Christian Bale alone. Now all these stories want to come out about him after he made loads of money and is sittin on top of the world. The entertainment business is harsh. First they build you up and then they know how to tear you right back down. All I know is, Christian Bale is talented and I have only heard good things about him from his co stars in the past.

Now with the death of one of the main characters, this has got to be a stressful time. now that in no way excuses his behavior IF INDEED HE HIT HIS FAMILY ( which i dont believe) but at least wait to see where the truth takes us.

Heath Ledger was a druggie. He chose drugs over his family. He chose drugs over his acting career. He chose drugs over the woman who loved him. He chose drugs over his daughter who now gets to grow up wondering why her daddy thought drugs were more important than her. Heath Ledger will be getting an Oscar based on sympathy and political correctness.
I guess if Christian wants an Oscar he will have to just die from an "accidental" drug overdose. This is a man who lost an egregious amount of weight (62 pounds to get down to 120 pounds) to achieve the emaciated skeletal look for the part he played in The Machinist. Christian Bale starved himself for over 4 months prior to filming.
I always thought it was weird that he changed his accent when he left home. Perhaps he wanted to completely disassociate from his family and meeting them again pushed buttons.
I know from personal experience that Parents/family members don't always have the best in mind for their own….I find it interesting that they would chose to have the police get involved on such a big weekend for him and his career….I have had big family spats and nobody wants to call the cops on each other, why would they do that to someone with such a high profile and so much to lose, if they weren't trying to take him down? I don't know, this seems unfair to Mr. Bale…Remember the line at the end of "The dark Knight" when they say Gotham has to blame Batman, and now he has to run because he can take it,( something to that effect) I can't help but think of that now. He looks tired and stressed, if indeed he is being rude and treating people badly, I hope he has had his eyes opened this weekend and does what he needs to do to fix the state he and his life are in right now….Work isn't worth it. His fans aren't going anywhere.

Just because Bale has a movie out, which we all know is doing tremendously well, all this drama comes out. If this is Bale's pattern of behavior, don't you think people like director Chris Nolan would have never wanted to work with Bale in Batman Begins and The Prestige? Even in other movies Bale has done, there's been no news on habitual outbursts.

How ironic that the mother and sister do not report the "alleged" assault at the time it occured. They however wait until the next day hours before the UK premiere of the Dark Knight. Hmmmm it sounds to me that the mother and sister are trying to cook something up. There is a reason why there is never anything provocative about Bale in the media, clearly he flys under the radar and has not been sucked into being the typical Hollywood actor media whore. I believe he will be fully vindicated and he is one of the few class acts we have in Hollywood. I really think the whole incident with his mom and sister is one where they are trying to make him look bad because they are jealous of his success. It seems he has not had a lot to with with the 2 of them in several years. You also have to wonder as well, why do things like this happen to actors when there is a lot of hype surrounding their movies.
As for him having an outburst on set, I am sure that happens on movie sets every day. As volatile as some of the actors personalities seem, that is not really any news that you are sharing, Perez. (Perez if you spent all day writing a story and someone accidentally 'deleted' it, you would be pissed too- and thats not even close to what this man would do for a movie)
