I love how at the end of Sherri's explanation, Elizabeth has to say… HAS TO… "and there will be a Judgement Day." Like a good little fear mongering Christian with snarky, self-righteous tendencies, she had to get that dig in. I really hate her. I really do. She is mean-spirited and she gets a paycheck. ABC can't fire her, only Barbara or that asshole Geddie… and since he loves her and Barbara is oblivious, The View will continue to be a crap show. God bless!

I did like Sherri until I heard about her abortions this am. It's NOt the fact that she had them, it's the fact that she always talks about how Holy and religious she is. Re: nope – Actually, many (educated or not) people do not believe in any type of birth control (other than abstinence), because some types technically do abort the baby. The pill for example. Also because they believe it interferes with God's plan for us- sex (Biblically) is supposed to be for reproduction only. (And I'm not saying I completely agree with all this, but it is true)

30 plus years ago I knew a girl who had 3 abortions, she used it as birth control. She is happily married and had several children that are actually in their 20's now. I could never have done that, but then again I used birth control. I wonder if she ever thinks of it? Probably not. Years ago it wasn't as big an issue as it is now.
You know, I get really sick and tired of people who vilify those of us who have had abortions. I had two. They were both accidents where birth control failed! I couldn't help that I was incredibly fertile! I was young and chose my men badly. I was very sad about putting myself in a situation/relationship that wasn't supportive and choosing men who were NOT father material! I wanted to be a mother, but those men did NOT want to be fathers. So I had two abortions — performed very very early in the first trimester.
My mistake was not about abortion, but about having so little self respect and knowledge of myself that I allowed myself to get intimately involved with unworthy men. I am not alone in making this mistake. I'm glad I didn't victimize two children by forcing them to have terrible fathers!
Sherrie did the best she could. I'm proud of her for living her life so openly and honestly. Most people are forced to keep this kind of thing secret.

Anyone can claim they are "religious" without fully believing/understanding what their religion preaches.
