OMG…get real…who wears helmets in golf carts? He was probably going like 10km/hr…there are kids in golf carts without seatbelts and helmets at our golf course all the time….when i bought my golf cart it didn't even come with a helmet!

oh please. my kid has been driving a colf car around our property since she has beeen 6. They do not go fast, and they are pretty steady. Old drunk guys drive em around all the time and nothing ever happens.

This is just dumb. The last time I went to the golf course and rented a golf cart they did not outfit with full on helmet regalia. The thing might go 5mph tops. He's clearly going slowly and it doesn't exactly look like there is a place for a baby seat in that thing. Has anyone ever ridden on one of those golf cart things on the boardwalk in AC with a baby, they don't give out helmets for that either and some of those drivers are CRAZY! I'm guessing it's not the law.

He was transported to Duke hospital and had swelling of the brain and now has screws from his head to his neck!
