Bale is so talented and his family(mum+sis)are just horrible.He had only lashed out verbally at his mum and sis as they wanted money from him and insulted his wife in the process.
He has worked really hard to get good movie roles and hope this incident does not reflect on him getting more roles or even being dropped from the next batman sequel.
This was about american psycho and it was done years ago.

His mom had no complaints about anything after all these years and years, and IMMEDIATELY after this movie becomes a super-hit, she's suddenly filing police complaints because he apparently yelled at her after she dogged out his wife? Well, the sun mentioned today that his sister started moaning at him cause she is bringing up three kids and can't afford to. She asked him for £100,000 which he quite rightly refused and the proceeded to insult his wife. Her brother has worked hard for his success - see machinst for full evidence- so why she should demand his money! I think this has been blown out of proportion and if it was one of us joe bloggs no one would have cared…If I got a sentence for everytime I argued with my brother…I would be doing life just now!

this whole spectacle is just sad. first i was stunned over the the initial reports of what he was accused of, especially since i am a huge fan. i have tried to be objective and the more i read about the actual event, the more i am convinced that the whole thing has been blown way out of proportion. i strongly believe that what occured between christian and his mother and sister was not as bad as it has been portrayed in the media.i just think it's sad that this whole thing had to be handled in the eye of the public and giving people a perhaps negative picture of christian.
i know that i suppport christian and i hope he breaks of contact with his mother and sister and focuses on his wife and child and his career. much love to you christian, your fans will stand by you!

Bale is not just talented - he is incredibly genuine. He loves his wife (who coincidently nobody knew until they married) and he defended her. This guy doesn't claim to be perfect, but I would much rather go have a beer with him than just about anyone else in show business. Gorgeous, talented, complicated - and a good human being who doesn't pretend to be one of those nicey nice celebrities. Give the guy a break.
Bale is a talented, complex, genuine human being who avoids being in the public eye and playing the 'look at me!' celebrity. He married a woman that no one heard of and continues to stick by her and defend her after 8 years. Conincidentally, he has a complicated background and family members that don't have his class - so much so that even after being invited to join him at the hotel he is staying at for HIS premiere, they make ridiculous accusations of him. There isn't one person out there who hasn't fought with a loved one and his mother wasn't exactly the loving type. This quote is taken out of context and I would still rather go for a beer with this actor than just about anyone else in the business - he is a class act. Give the guy a break.
As a married woman, I understand what he is trying to say. When your husband is deeply involved in a project they think about nothing else and tune everything around them out. And at times can be an a–. No biggie, very normal. He is just being honest. Great guy for seeing it and admitting it.

I'm almost positive he is talking about actors becoming so into their roles that they take on the personas even while they're not on the set…kind of what people were saying Heath Ledger went through while he was playing The Joker. Some of the best actors, those who really take it seriously and commit and give their all to it really do almost "become" the character they're portraying.
