Blame it on the Simpson curse!
Asslee's ex-boyfriend, Ryan Cabrera, has released a new album independently. Bypassing the majors, the singer's new record is on Poppa Joe's record label.
And no one cares!
According to Boxscore, Cabrera played a concert with musician Ferras at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio, on June 18th.
The venue's capacity is 1,200.
But Cabrera only sold 177 tickets.
That's not even a slap - that's a big fist up the butt!

I was flipping the channels one night and came upon Mr. Cabrera and his "band" and I use the name loosely. OMG this man cannot sing at all, it was embarrasing, why does he think he's a musician? The worst singing I have ever heard in my life, out of tune, bad voice, just terrible. He needs to do something else with his life, cause singer aint it.

I saw Ryan about 4 years ago at the same venue in Columbus. The place was packed and Ryan was the opening act. There were tons of screaming girls and Joe Simpson was even there. I don't know what the hell happened but he doesn't even look like the same person.
he played at the "Darboy Chicken Fest" in Darboy, WI a few weeks ago. Can you get worse than that? He didn't even headline, he played at five and a local band got the later time slot. how sad…

I feel bad for Ryan really. At his show in PA, he was charging $20 a person for his meet and greet. That's a slap in the face for the fans who have already bought his CD and paid for concert tickets. Ferras, on the other hand, came right out to meet the fans after his set. He took pictures and signed autographs for everyone. What a gracious man. On top of that, he totally outperformed Ryan. It was just Ferras and a piano and there were moments when you could hear people gasp as he sang his songs. He is THAT good. If you haven't seen him perform live, you must do so. He is phenomenal.
He used to be so innocently cute and funny. I was really pulling for him but ever since he hooked up with the Presleys, he's looked and acted like a freak. Is he a scientologist, too? When will these idiots learn that scientology is the kiss of death to their career? Couple that with his affiliation with Joe Simpson and you have a PR nightmare. He had so much promise.

know what? who cares how many tickets he sold? i was there and it was a great show! the album is amazing, and if people would only give him a chance and stop complaining….Chops to Ryan for not giving a damn what the conformists think and for pursuing a dream no matter what!

Ryan Cabrerra rules. He's totally under-rated. Download some songs form ITunes and see for yourself. I had no idea he sang a lot of these songs I loved. If it was closer, I'd be there.

Normally I love what your write Perez, but this story is lame. Ryan's album came out iback in May…slow day huh? Yea Ryan changed his look, but his new ablum is not like all the other pop shit on the radio now. He has done this whole album on his own and it is a whole new sound for him. Try listening to it before you put him down. I met him back in June and hes a really down to earth guy.I just think it is sad that everyone stopped listening to him because his look changed…just shows how shallow people really are.

Ryan is amazing and if you would take off your head phones you used to listen to yourself talk you would know that. He is amazing he sings, writes and plays four instruments. I have seen him in concert multiple times and he was always amazing. He has been away for about two years writing for his new cd and paying for it all. so before you pre-judge go listen to it.
