I'm from Belgium and she is very hot here, but I don't like her so much.
It's stupid that she always sings covers! Listen to Hadise, she is famous in Turkey too, and I'm proud she is from Belgium!!

I mean, the original song is an homage to Ella Fitzgerald (Ella Elle A literally means Ella Has It). Kate Ryan covers a song and she doesn't even know what she's singing!!!! Wow, why is it that we Belgians are always know for bad stuff, like Vandam and now this 'singer'.

Kate is a really really good singer … yes, she made lot of covers, but she does them great … If you wanna hear something original, just go to youtube. She´s also amazing songwriter.

Nice to see attention been given to a belgian artist. If you like her check out her 'Je t'adore' it's one of the few songs she sings which isn't a cover, and it's good if you like easy going popsounds!.
Anyway we have still a bunch of other artists which deserve to be known! And Kate isn't the best singer ever, but has a very nice personality!

Fact is that THIS is the version of Kate Ryan and yes..she made, yet another, cover… it has been made quite obvious by some of the readers of this blog that KATE RYAN was not the writer nor the original singer of this song…
We know there's such a thing as national pride (and we know the french are known for having national pride if it's about music BUT COME ON..it's a freggin song..no matter who it's about, no matter who sung it first..that is NOT the issue here…

I'm from Belgium too. Kate Ryan is not really my thing. If you want to hear some decent Belgian music, than check out ZORNIK , they are compared to Muse, Placebo… I think they are great!

I think she has guts to take the risk and sing songs like "Ella elle l'a", "Désenchantée", "Libertine"..etc… after great singers & song-writers have done it. Apparently the people like it so why shouldn't she do it?
She gives the music-world in Belgium a new dimension. And not just because she's pretty!
I've met her several times in person and she's down to earth, honest and nice.
