So I've always hated Miley Cyrus, and this video has just made me hate her about a thousand times more. She's a slut and trys to deny it. Shann, I could not agree more with your post. Miley's behavior is reprehensible, as is that of her allegedly “older” friend. When the whole Vanity Fair controversy broke I was disheartened by the media and people’s viciousness towards a seemingly innocent young girl. I honestly felt bad for her but this video just took me aback and made me regret the amount of pity I had wasted on her. She’s taken away the veneer of purity the house of mouse enclosed her in and proven how petty and undeserving she is. All this video had done is make the public realize how cheap and utterly immature she is. Like Emerson said, “Envy is ignorance.”
The real shame here isn’t only in that she is a walking defiance of what Disney stands for or even that she’s a sham of an idol but the fact that she is a veritable embarrassment for the country community.
And as for the timeliness of Perez’s post…the issue here isn’t chronology, folks. Even if he had posted this 30 years after the fact, shouldn’t the public who pays good time and money to someone like Miley have the right to realize how wrong it is to support someone who perpetuates immaturity, pettiness and sheer, unadultered cruelty?
