Very very very exciting news!
Fleetwood Mac is gearing up for a tour in early 2009 that will likely be followed by a new band album.
Yay!!!!!
A world with more Stevie Nicks is a happier planet!
Band member Lindsay Buckingham said, "There was no sense we had to jump right in the studio. I think maybe there was even a sense that we would make a better album if we went out and hung out together first on the road … maybe even sowing some seeds musically that would get us more prepared to go in the studio rather than just going in cold. It takes the pressure (off) from having to go in and make something cold."
The recent rumors that Sheryl Crow will be joining the band are not true, thankfully.
Buckingham says the matter "kinda got out of hand," though there were discussions between the Fleetwood Mac members and Crow. Ultimately, he says, the prospect "just kind of lost its momentum."
It's all about Stevie!
We can't wait to see them live (again)!

The truth is the old talentless Hag couldn't stand to have a younger, prettier, and way more talented female on stage with her and axed the whole deal of Cheryl going on tour w/Fleetwood Mac. Oh yeah and she sounds like she has a sinus infection when she sings. Just sayin.
I love fleetwood mac, and Stevie is like my flippin idol, im so glad that they are going on tour again, i thot the last one they did was really the last, even tho Stevie still does tour independetly, cuz her music is just as amazing solo as it is in fleetwood mac! i would do anything for those tix, they gotta be expensive.

Re: Truth – The truth is that Stevie actually looks quite a bit better (and younger) than Ms. Crowe does. Get your glasses. Just saying. To compare their talent is just silly and subjective.

I absolutely LOVE, Stevie Nicks; and I am also thrilled that, Fleetwood Mac is touring, again; and Stevie looks STUNNING!!!; not only is she one of the most beautiful women ever to be born, but, an incredible talent as well:)
I cried when I saw them a few years ago on tour. Their history is amazing. I cried the moment Stevie Nicks graced the stage. What a beautiful history. ROck On

When did Stevie say this? Hard to believe, as it is a really bad idea.
I've never gotten her appeal. She wears a bunch of drapes, twirls in circles while banging on a tambourine and croaking like a frog. I've never liked her solo music but she must have done something cuz she sure has milked it. LindsEy Buckingham is the superior of the two. Shoot, he's probably the best thing about Fleetwood Mac and by far the most relevant. If I were to ever think about spending $$ to see this band, the only thing that would make it worthwhile were if that man were there. Stevie Nicks is a bore.
Stevie Nicks needs to hire a personal trainer and get her fat bloated ass into
a gym. Cut that hideous hair and lose the wardrobe from 1987 it didn't work then, it looks worse now. The fat makes her look 20 years older. There is no reason other than laziness. She's got the cash. Take a hint - fans don't like seeing fat hogs like Nicks or Ann Wilson waddling on stage sweating in their Spanxx hiding underblack clothing barely able to sustain or hit the notes they once did. It's embarrassing and disheartening to see old rock heros and the blind and tone deaf fans who worship at the altar the gold dust woman who hasn't
done ANYTHING relevant in 20 years. She is a caricature of herself and it's painful to watch. Put up or shut up Ms. Nicks this is your last chance for a come back.

Fuck, I like Stevie, but there is no way I would go and see FM now. Especially not without Christine. Say You Will was a friggin' bomb. I'd go and see Lindsey solo before shelling out bucks for Stevie or the Mac. They've had their run, methinks.

Sheryl Crow looks older than Stevie Nicks. The last time I saw her, she looked like a peice a leather. She spends too much time in the sun. It's a shame too. She's only in her 40s but she looks like she in her 60s.
It's not Fleetwood Mac without Christie McVie. Christie McVie is the better female vocalist.
Re: Quinn – I don't think McVie's a better vocalist. She's very good, but it simply different than Stevie; Stevie was and is a fairly dynamic and stylized front woman, with a distinctiveness in her vocal sound and style that made her stand out. Besides, McVie signed on to play keyboards, and is a published tune writer in her own right who had personal musical success prior to Mac.

This is amazing! Still can't believe it! It will be the best day of my life. Fleetwood Mac is, was and always will be the best band of all time.
Thank God they didn't include Crow because that bitch is annoying and she can't sing. Stevie is wearing too much makeup and it makes her look awful. I would love to see what they come out with next.

Stevie and Sheryl are great friends. I think Stevie wants Sheryl to be with her. She doesn't like being in an all boy band. It's the other members who don't want her. Those two women get along great.
by the way, Mr. Buckingham's name is spelled LindsEy and not LindsAy
Stevie is still AMAZING in concert! Lets hope they do "Sisters of the Moon" in concert.
