I know you don't read these, so I have no idea why I am writing this. I do read your blogs because it is my guilty pleasure to keep up on the celebrity gossip. However, I can't understand why you are so incredibly critical of people. Yes they are movie stars and that comes with a price, but when you see someone beautiful, flawless, and thin, and still have a problem with them…I have to ask…does anything please you?

Here in France, many -the majority of- French think she is married with our President only for 'business'. She used to change her boyfriends in order to stay 'famous' and recognized by people. She became a singer when she dated Raphael (A French singer) and JL Aubert (another one from the former 'Telephone' band, very famous in the 80's and still known in France)… Indeed, she looks like she's scratching the parquet floor with her teeth (A french proverb to define very ambitious people). Even more, we think it is an agreement she has with our President, because he divorced a few months ago from his wife and marry her suddenly… She also looks like the former wife of our president very much (Cecilia Ciganer-Albeniz). So, she isn't the new Jacky O for sure. Just an hideous imitation. Michelle Obama is. Hope she will be in November…

I had the honour of meeting her in 2004 at the Evian Golf Tournament, well before she met Sarkozy and I found her delightful. If there's a first lady with class, it's really her.

Why can we say that Carla is the new Jackie ? Yes, she has style, like to be in a natural way, but always stylish. But, more important: she like money and power, as Jackie. She married Onassis - one of the most rich men in the world at this time - and never loved him, and that, just after being the firt lady, the lady in the pink and bloody suit !

Re: Carol – I agree with you. i wasn't very fond of her originally but i don't know that much about her to judge her and if she is that rich, it makes me think of something very interesting. so when rich men only go out with supermodels, heiresses and celebrity women, that's cool, but when rich women (and most of the time media don't acknowledge how rich they are, sometimes wealthier than their partner) date rich men, people call them gold digger. wtf? anyway, i don't know her worth but the presidents of republics are not all that, they are not that rich so i can actually believe carla is way richer than her husband (for crying out loud, she got freaking 2 highly paid job + she's a heiress!)

I mean Perez…. Carla Bruni was one of the supermodels of the 90's along with Claudia Schiffer, Naomi campbell, Linda Evangelista, ecc. At least you should know this! She was very well known back then and was (and still is) amazingly beautiful. She is italian but grew up partly in France. She also became a successful musician writing her own music. She has impressive songwriting skills and she plays guitar. She's currently on top of french charts. she also very well educated and speak many languages fluently. Many people hate her because of her tumultous relationships but all in all she is a very strong and intelligent woman and obviously beautiful
