Shia Owns Up To His Mistakes

Access Hollywood reports that someone at the scene of the Shia LaBeouf drunk driving incident told the actor to flee!
The TV show's source is some guy named Brian Perrulli, who came across the accident, and pulled over to try and help out.
Perrulli said he overheard a man, who had been in the vehicle LaBeouf hit, telling the actor to flee the accident scene.
“Shia was tending to the other people in the car, signing over information, like insurance and stuff and basically, I overheard the guy tell him, ‘You should just get out of here and go,’ and Shia said, ‘Nah man. I gotta deal with this. My license plate, it’s my car. I don’t wanna go, I gotta deal with this.’”
Perrulli claims he heard the man from the other vehicle, who has not yet been identified, say he would cover for the star.
“The guy Shia hit told him, ‘You should get outta here,’ and ‘I never saw you.’ He said, ‘I never saw you,’ and Shia said, ‘No, man, I gotta stay here and deal with this. It’s my problem,” Perrulli said.
The snitch went on to say Shia did not seem intoxicated, “He looked more disoriented and shocked more than drunk. I wouldn’t have thought he was drunk."
Shia would've been effed if he peaced out!

the guy probs wanted shia to leave cause the guy WAS THE CAUSE FOR THE ACCIDENT, and shia was ALLEGEDLY drunk. everyone blows things out of proportion

Im not sure I understand why it makes someone an idiot to take responsibility for his mistakes.
You don't have to be sloppy drunk to be convicted of DUI. You just have to be intoxicated to the point where your senses are impaired. A lot of people don't seem "drunk", yet they are intoxicated to the point where it is not safe for them to drive. Just because this guy says Shia doesn't seem drunk doesn't prove anything.
i was so dissapointed of shia when i first heard about the whole drunk driving trouble… now that i read this -and i hope its true- i think he can recover and become the star he was before.. without that much trouble!! he seems to be a really good person, he just needs to get back on track and focus in his acting instead of gettin drunk! Let's see.. first reported that he was a drunk douche that made an illegal turn and hurt a poor innocent victim.
Now its innocent Shia was making a legal left turn when some ass in Beemer speed through a solid red light and broadsided Shia F150 quad cab tank so hard it caused it to roll twice.
And the police suspect Shia of a DUI.. did they test the guy/girl who caused the accident for alcohol?
No breath analyzer on scene.. so now big dramatic wait for the BAC from the hospital.. I think the police might have jumped the gun on this one.. only time will tell.
Why would you write Idiot on his picture? He was being a smart young man. He took responsibility for what he did, acted like a man, and yet you're still criticizing the guy for taking the high road when he could have easily been stupid and selfish and left the scene in attempt to save his image but he cared more about making sure his passengers were OK and owning up to his mistake. Most of the postings saying "Shia was being responsible" are being written and posted by summer interns at Endeavor, which, along with Shia's publicist, are scrambling like crazy to try to spin this in Shia'a favor. US Weekly and the Chicaco Triubune wire service are saying that witnesses at a Hollywood Club (not named, but probably Villa) have reported that Shia was "dancing around and acting really crazy" and also that he "kept doing shots of whiskey".

And the final thing was that, it is possible that Shia was high as well as drunk (it wouldn't be the first time). I for one can't wait for those toxological test results.

But the cops on the scene said he showed obvious signs of intoxication, and he was seeing drinking earlier in the evening (at The Troubadour, not at Villa). And the driver who ran the red light was a FEMALE! Jesus, if you're going to plant fake posts accusing Perez of being wrong, at least get the basic facts right, you slimy publicist!
