So excited to see this! I may no longer be a teenager but these were fantastic books and the movies are just as good even though the sometime leave out alot. I like how they are darker now and not just a movie for kids! Should be good!

im pretty sure you almost HAVE to have read, and probably memorized everthing in the book to get maybe the jist of that trailer….

Looks like they've f-ed up another Potter movie. The best being the first and second, the worst being Order of the Phoenix.
I will still go to see it of course, to support the cast, if only they are a real directer *sighs*.
BTW as an avid HP fan, let me say the scene with little Tom Riddle is supposed to be a little lighter than they portrayed, it looks stupid.

i have been a fan of the books since i was 12 (22 now) and i must say, i don't agree with your preview assessment. first of all, that wasn't the whole scene, they cut bits and pieces from it to make it more suspenseful, to make it a good trailer.
and the scene with riddle wasn't dramatic through young dumbledore's eyes, but you forget, dumbledore and harry are looking back at one of his memories, and since they know what he has become, the scene takes on a darker tone.
:) just my take on it.
*** btw (to the comment of the 1st page about liking hp over the age of 17)
many people have been reading potter since middle school and have aged along with the books. that doesn't make us 'gay'. also, the last 2 books are not just children's books. they take on a much darker tone that is meant for adults. rowling has spoken about how she wrote the books intentionally like that, because as the main characters grow up (11 in the first book, 17 in the last) so do the readers.

Why do they make the movies look so dark? It doesnt look nothing like the book. I love the books, but the movies dont do them any justice. I consider myself a huge Harry Potter fan, but I am not super excited to see this movie. I am more excited for "TWILIGHT"!!!!!!!!
