HAHA GO PEREZ!! I'm canadian, love it here but regardless of where this happened if your pregnant GET OFF THE DAMN STREETS!!! Maybe she was just trying to re-locate all of the possible daddy's and thought he might come back for another ride so she could keep in touch and ding him for child support in a few months!! When I was 8 months pregnant with my first child, my husband's childhood friend, who was bestman at our wedding, came onto me at a barbecue at his house, saying how he found pregnant women attractive. At exactly the same time, his mother walked into the room and overheard him. I just escaped as fast as I could. The horrified look on her face said enough, and I let her deal with it. I didn't tell my husband as I just couldn't face the hurt he would suffer knowing his best friend could behave in such a way. However, I have avoided all contact with him since. The reason why I'm saying this is to underline that it's easy to point the finger at the prostitutes, but there are men out there with all tastes and fetishes, and women prepared to cater to them. One wonders what future prospects the yet unborn children have. Welcome to the world…

Hahaha….I read Perez all the time….never thought i would read a story about Barrie. I live here and just like any city there are people that make the city look worse then it is. Reading majority of the comments left on here, just proves to me that Barrie may have prositutes and so does every other province/state in North America, but also the amount of narrow minded ignorant people that live and think what they say actually makes sense to those who do not reside in a bubble.
Barrie is a beautiful city, and I think Canada landed on the map a hell of along time ago…..but that goes back….not that all Americans are ignorant, but the majority of you who write on this site (Comment #25 specifically) you are the people who give America the name they have. I consider before you run your mouth off about a place you have never been look back at your coutry and realize that things like this are probably happening all over you country and a rate much higher then ours.

Canada's Biggest Trailer park lives in Fort McMurray, AB, the armpit of the world. Thankyouverymuch. Barrie's a great place to live, and like the other comments say, was much better before torontonians started moving there. I have since moved, but to a similar location - water front, out of the big city, beaches, summer and winter activities. Barrie's a great place to live.

I work in a jail and this is all too common. We get pregnant prostitutes in on a weekly basis. Had one 8 months pregnant that went into labor on us. This really isn't that news worthy, people just don't want to see what life on the street is really like.
