Considering Whoopi's contemporaries, 50 seems like a reasonable number. I don't see myself going that high, but I'm not in a similar lifestyle, and my generation was taught to have an almost paranoid fear of AIDS and other STDs.
She's what, 52? Assume she's been active since she was 16–just an average–and that statistically is less than 2 partners a year. And many people have a wild period, so I wouldn't be shocked if a big chunk of the number is from a few years.

I'm 51 and I can tell you that life was much more free in the 70's and 80's. That doesn't make her a ho. lol Anyone who practices free love nowadays is a fool. 50 IS NOTHING. I have been with over 75 guys in my life time and I am not yet 44. It's nothing to be proud of, I just made some stupid choices and was looking for something in the bed that I couldn't find in my life. I have only been with one man for over 3 years now and I feel like he is the last one for me. I had a lot of issues with men and sex and it took a long time to get the self-love and confidence to stop using my body that way. Luckily, I did not catch anything and am HIV negative, but that was luck. I was not a good person and took too many risks. I would not recommend this lifestyle to ANYONE.
